    Hi. I too have felt anxiety brought on by withdrawal from PMO. It's important to understand that it's just that: a symptom of withdrawal. Withdrawal is the addiction's way of trying to hold on to you as you begin to leave it behind. You should take comfort in the fact that it's a direct sign that you are making progress in your healing.

    I highly recommend starting a daily mindfulness meditation practice. The app Headspace is a great place to try it out. It will not only help you reduce the intensity of the anxiety but it also helps you to shift your perspective on anxiety. Anxiety is just a feeling. It doesn't reflect our reality. Try not to resist it. Accept what you are currently feeling, observe it with a sense of curiosity and understand that it, like all feelings and all thoughts, will pass.
