Hi I am new to this community and this is my first post. I decided to abstain from masturbation and porn but exactly after one week of abstaining , I had a wet dream. Will it be counted as a relapse. Do I have to go through it again and control all my urges that I had controlled previous week and it was almost impossible. Will my body and brain react the same way it reacted from day 1 of abstaining.

    Thanks for support

A wet dream is not a relapse. It occurs entirely in your subconscious, which you have no control of.
Wet dreams are healthy also, as they are your body's natural way of releasing old sperm to make room for new sperm.

Having wet dreams on nofap is a sign of progress. They are a very good thing but oftentimes there is a chaser effect afterwards. Beware of that.

Yes, I think Ive relapsed after every wet dream Ive had. So be aware and have a plan.

Woah, woah, woah. You can't possibly relapse after a Wet Dream. You can't disregard the human body just because you are abstaining from masturbation. I remember on my first run of 80 days, I had a Wet Dream awkward, but necessary. You should SMILE when this happens, as it means you are back on track to becoming a MAN without porn.

Just acknowledge the presence of urges and let them pass by. Pretending the urges - or fantasies - are non-existent actually means reinforcing them, because you already give them more focus than they deserve to get. Think of the process as of giving birth to a new man. Each birth comes along with pain, but the pain must be suffered while waiting for the birth - it will eventually end and you will enjoy your new self. "Ignoring" the pain serves no purpose - be proud of having it, for it means that you, enduring it, are stronger than ever.

And I too usually have a wet dream within 1-2 weeks from relapsing. I don't count it as a relapse. I just perceive it as my sub conscience playing tricks on me. I don't feel guilty from it - fighting with yourself is a waste of time and energy; I rather try to seek balance and harmony than destabilize myself further.
