Great post. Although a month isn't that much compared to you, it's definitely an achievement for me and I can already see the benefits.

    A quick question.
Did you have a lot of sex during your abstinence? I think completely abstaining past the point where you've rebooted (morning wood, no sexual problems like ED and a healthy libido) could lead to relapses in the future. Surely if you're having sex the likelihood of relapse is small?

    Keep going

Hi, I'm struggling to motivate myself from relapsing. Quick question: what do you think of/do to prevent yourself from relapsing.

No, I'm in a sense choosing to live a celibate life. I don't have regular sex and don't really have the urge to have sex. I haven't P or M'd or O'd in the past 540 days and i can tell you that i never feel like i need it. Sure i get those days where i'll get a sexual dream, but even those are happening less and less

Ok great post, while I'm definitely not gonna define myself by chasing women (I have a lot of other goals I'm working towards) I still think having sex will reduce the chance I relapse. That is one of the goals of nofap for me. Cheers

That is absolutely great to hear from you. Almost two years in and you are definitely seeing the fruits of your mind healing from PMO. I hope to get to that point to in another year. I understand what your saying in that you do not need the behavior anymore. We shouldn’t be thinking about PMO as normal people.

I also admire what you said about your faith as well and I am doing the same thing. I want this poison out of my life for good ...

Thank you. It's definitely a liberating feeling when you no longer have to focus on sex all the time.

Thank you for your advices. After 5 years of abstinence of masturbation // porn, I relapsed really bad and feel the need to get back here and reestart my journey like the old, and painful days. I deeply agree with the life battle sentence, it is forever, p/m will hunt you, more and more every day till the end of the internet as we know. Tiktok, Reels, Shorts, Social network will make you see women and feel urges and you cant say no.
