It's have been almost 8 months since I quite porn .

Here is the reason why I quite porn

1 I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO THAN LOOK AT PORN .

2 I FIND PORN IS EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE & OVER STIMULATING LIKE HARD CORE DRUGS LIKE COCAIN , METH .. Etc

3 I WANT TO BEING TRUTHFUL AND OPEN WITH PEOPLE I LOVE . I DON'T WANT TO HIDE ANYTHING FROM PEOPLE I CARE

4 I DON’T WANT TO RISK GETTING CAUGHT USING PORN . IT WILL BE EXTREMELY HARD TO FACE

5 WATCHING PORN IS LIKE PROMOTING HUMAN TRAFFICKING , SO HATE PORN INDUSTRY AND DO NOT WANT TO SUPPORT IT

6 I DISLIKE THE WAY PEOPLE AND SEX ARE PORTRAYED IN PORN & IT'S GIVING US UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS ABOUT REAL INTIMACY

7 I WOULD NOT WANT TO OFFEND or EMOTIONALLY HURT MY INTIMATE PARTNER BY USING PORN

8 I FEEL EMBARRASSED AND UNCOMFORTABLE USING PORN NOW . IT'S NOT MY PART OF LIFE ANYMORE

9 I DON’T WANT TO RISK BECOMING RELIANT ON PORN BECAUSE IT'S HIGHLY ADDICTIVE

10 I DON’T LIKE THE IDEA OF GETTING TURNED ON BY STRANGERS

we are watching an act that most humans consider extremely private, to please ourselves
Would you feel weird if some guy was watching you have sex with a girl and he had his pants down, grunting, moaning, was and jerking his dick off while he watched ?

11 I WANT FEEL GOOD ABOUT MYSELF AS A SEXUAL PARTNER

12 I WILL NEVER ABLE TO JUSTIFY THE GUILT & SHAME AFTER PMOying

13 IT WILL COMPLETILY DESTORY MY TIME & ENERGY

Yes, yes, yes!!! I agree with all the points! One of the first things I did when I decided to make it a goal to cut this out of my life was to write down a numbered list of all the reasons why I want to quit and how it's affect my life. I got up to like 70 or so, but really after the first one there is no real reason to keep doing it.

3 is one my favorite points, but to add on to it, one I had was that it's not something you can talk to strangers or friends about in social settings, as a normal, healthy topic, thus it becomes something that you keep to yourself and thus built up inside of you, knawing on your mind. If you do talk about it, it's to confess to somebody for help, or through this site for moral support, not as a social topic, like sports or work.
