    Dear fapstronauts.

Do you guys know ¿ What is the cause of this tiredness while rebooting?
How do you cope with it? When it stoped?
Know the facts behing this? Is it part of the dopamine disfunction?

I´v been trying to reboot many times and I always notice one of the withdrawal symptoms: Feeling tired.

Im now on day 5 of my streak and having many trouble to energize myself.
Of course I see this is happening, in part, because some days I have problems to sleep (another withdrawal symptom) but even If I go to sleep at 23:00 and wake up at 7:30, I might feel great for some 2-4 hours and then, Bam! Im out of energy.

Excersice is helping a lot and also meditation( which is helping me to cope with abstinence and brings me the powerlfull efect of a nap).

Hey dont worry that's a flatline where you feel low, depressed, Fatigue and all those similar things. Now your brain is flushing out those extra dopamine that you pumped in with the help of porn. That's the major reason your are feeling like this. It wll take some time so stay strong :)

Hey man i can relate, I hit a similar wall around day six and i'm still feeling that way. Work has been very stressful this week which isn't helping. Normally i would use porn to lift my mood but i know doing so would just be a temporary high before leaving me feeling even worse. I just feel tired all the time (My sleep has been up and down, A few ok nights as well as a fair few 3 or 4 hour restless ones)

It does get better We just have to push through it. in my experience the good days soon out number the bad and our overall mood should soon lift (Hope its the same for you) Last few days i have been trying deep breathing techniques (Which a few board members have recommended) and that has helped a little with mood/sleep last few nights.

    All the best mate

Yeh levelling out dopamine, but could also be blood sugar crashes. Happened to me for weeks here and there during reboots and withdrawals from stimulants.

Would look at cleaning up your diet if you haven't already and reduce / remove completely refined sugars and excessive carbs. Also getting regular sleep patterns happening. Good luck and just keep going.

  5. You think our fatigue/tiredness has to do with dopamine receptors recovering? I have been very tired lately and can’t explain why, I used to wake up at 3 or 4 with 5-6 hours of sleep, now I can’t do that, I’m way too tired to wake up that early to go gym then to work, what’s going on, I need energy to exercise again!!! HELP!!

    For sure.

5 - 6 hours sleep is simply not enough to sustain over the long haul. Sleep is the way to recharge the batteries. Also to repair damage that is constantly happening. Most people recommend 7 - 9 hours per day. Listen to your body. And check this out:

All the best man : )

Encourage naps if you can, it can speed up the process.

Make sure you’re eating enough food, enough variety, with enough exercise.
