Why am I leaving NoFap; The truth about this community

I have some sympathy with the OP since lately I've been feeling a bit jaded by this forum. But I do recognize it's value... Through it I have learnt that I'm not alone in the some of the struggles I have and people's lives have been changed by it. From time to time I do think that it's good to take a break from the site.

 

I agree with you.

Majority of people here are millennial social media addicted people, nofap has become another typical feeling social media outlet and the majority of people here including myself have a very stubborn opinion based on emotion half the time.

This makes it near impossible to have any kind of discussion without an argument happening, what’s the point of arguing over such dumb topics.

Everyone probably knows by now that I only care about 1 person here. Because that one person is my best friend who I trust entirely.

This fact probably annoys or disappoints people but don’t take it to heart, I’m just someone who only connects to people I know want to be my friend for the right reasons. A genuine true person who I know without a doubt I can trust, and I have trust issues so that’s someone really special to get that from me.

Anyway this site isn’t what it used to be, it’s become infested by too many weirdos unfortunately, which makes it hard to enjoy spending time here anymore.
The only thing I enjoy is sharing my day with my friend and supporting my friend.

Everything else I don’t care about.


Ps this is simply my opinion, I don’t care to argue because I don’t wanna waste my time. But maybe some people will relate, others will not, this is life. Good day to everyone.

 

I agree that some users spend too much time on this site (myself included), but I find it ironic that the ones saying this are the ones who've spent the most time here. I still think this thread is trash even though some of us use this site too much. I'm glad the OP's gone.

What the hell does that have to do with the issues I'm personally facing in my life I'm thankful that i have food but does that mean i shouldn't have any other issues because others have it worse NO im sorry for those people but its a cold fucking world out there i wish i could help but i bet all those Charity are a scam anyways so fuck it.

Ok I see your point their If a person has thousands of posts in one year that is an excessive amount and there time probably could have been put to better use but what about other forms like The Tech Game were people have thousands of post are you going to condemn them also and how about all those thousands of hours watching TV, youtube and lets not forget porn over the years and doing bullshit with your life that's also a big waste of time, everybody wastes time in there own way.

I don't have to IMAGINE one day i was lying in bed in the hospital and my heart started to race the doctors didn't know what to do after about 45 minute of my heart being at like 170 bpm constantly i thought my heart was going to stop any second then they finally shock paddled me and i woke up and saw my whole family sitting in front of me at that very moment i came to the depressing realization that I was going to die very soon.
I understand were your coming from with the whole wasting time but everyone wastes time in there own way. I used to be addicted to porn were i would fap 5 times a day this form has greatly helped me over come that and i can now say I'm not that addicted anymore and i believe this forum has helped many other people over come their addictions as well. I will never understand why people like you hate nofap so badly that you write out that long hateful people just to hurt others that are trying to overcome their porn addiction.

 

I applaud you for trying to get over your pornography addiction. And I get you are over this site for being a waste of time. BUT, People rely on this site to break out of their addiction! Me personally, I am trying to use this site to break free of addiction, then I will leave it forever... I need this as a starting point to the rest of my life's journey! So, if you see it as a waste of time, then so be it, but people see it as an aid to become a better person and there's no reason to berate people for their good decisions. All you are doing is causing drama in the community.

What are you on about? If your statement was true, then weak people would be permanently screwed. It's not black and white and everyone starts off weak, then gets stronger as time goes by depending on what it is you're doing.

OP, your argument is incoherent and self contradictory. I'm not sure what the main point of your argument is, and how you make the connection of people suffering from hunger to people trying to better their lives by trying to quit PMO.

Honestly, you should have just quit without posting anything, we don't need any negativity here, nofab is clearly changing peoples lives and it has certainly changed mine.
