You're damn right about that.

Like a fuggin MACK Dump Truck chuggin at 100mph down the highway haulin' a load of bullshit.

Put space in between you and the obsession somehow (one must study how) and practice, practice, practice not acting out on the obsession otherwise it becomes compulsion and over time the compulsion will deteriorate and the obsession will get weaker and weaker in the long haul when you don't give into compulsive behavior.

 

I usually act out if that happens.

So now I guard my eyes online.

But on the off chance it happens, well I usually act out.

Everybody has strategies man that may or may not work for you as an individual.

So guard your senses and study well.

 

I think it takes time and effort is what it comes down to man.

And mindfulness.



We have to change and that doesn't happen overnight or in 3 months time after you have been using your hand to fuck yourself while staring at pixels for years and years.

 

Meditation builds better self awareness and impulse control which can aid one greatly with putting space in between you and temptation in the heat of the bestial moment.

Deep breathing is also viable as is telling on the urge to someone on here or offline.

I actually seen a few already. ( not my search).But I successfully went over them. Self control is key. Turn away, dont touch anything, and find something else to do.
Generic stuff, but what else can you other than simply controlling yourself?
