What if you never have sex again?

So, let's say that most guys here are quitting PMO with the goal that they can improve themselves and eventually have healthy sexual relationships.

For me, this appears in my mind as the thought: I am not going to masturbate anymore, so I am only ever going to have an orgasm again if it's with a real woman I haven't paid.

There is a good and bad side to this. The good side is that it makes me super motivated to seek out real women and try to date them.

The bad side is that in the back of my mind there is always the slight worry that it may never happen, or that it might never happen enough for it to really satisfy me.

So, my question to you is: what happens if this NoFap path doesn't work out the way you want it to? What if you just end up hardly ever having sex, or perhaps never having it?

How long would you give it until finally giving up and then going back to PMO? 6 Months? A year? 5 years?

never crossed my mind about that, but I just know that masturbation is really unhealthy for you. So even you do not have sex with anyone, masturbation is not the answer. It is a bad addiction that needs to be cured, our body needs to be rewired.

  3. I feel you. It's one thing to be doing nofap when you're young and there are still multiple dating options out there, but when you get up there in age, it gets increasingly difficult to find a suitable partner. But if you have this "what if" mentality, you are definitely on the path right back to a PMO lifestyle. You said that nofap makes you super motivated to seek out real women to date, so there you have it. That's the benefit and if you stick with it, you just might break through and surprise yourself. Or you could just continue to live comfortably numb.

  4. I haven't quit PMO with the thought I will get good amounts of real sex afterwards.

Currently I have around 700++ days probably,no gf yet ,sex or anything, haven't become casanova, but you know what? I dont have any plans to go back to PMO
For me PMO made me feel like a complete effed up pathetic loser that couldn't control himself over some naked women images. I wanted to be different. I wanted to be strong as iron , unmovable, i wanted extreme self control. I got them! And I'm not going to let them go. Impress me up with your best porn imagery you have found on the whole internet, I ll just close that image /video and move on. That's the self control, the amazing feeling of being your owner.
Might sounded cocky as heck, but it's what it is. It's what I fought for. I fought for strength, and I earnt it.

And also since when the hell is sex the only thing to be craved for in this life ?

That's a pretty long shot to think that way, then again what if you never have sex again WHILE ON PMO? NoFap will at the very least, increase your chances because it will motivate you to go out and get what you want, as opposed to fapping and waiting for stuff to come to you. There's a girl I see every other day in the morning who gets on the same train as me, I'm starting to build up the confidence to make conversation with her - something I would never have imagined before. It's that motivation dude, take advantage

It is justified to be cocky about things like these. Things that require will power and fighting, something that everyone can achieve.

    Thank you for your responses.

In hindsight I actually wish I had quit PMO years ago. The motivation I have for dating now is so far and above any attempts I made in the past. If only I'd had this level of motivation when I was in my 20's!

But what's done is done. It's just a case of making the best of life as it is now.

As a person with little to no chance of finding someone, I want my tombstone to say "Virgin but no PMO".

Sex isn't the only thing in life. I've realized that now. If I never end up with a girl then that's okay. What matters to me is glorifying God. Paul writes in his letters that singleness is a blessing because you can do the things you want and do not have to worry about another person. Obligations to a family can keep you from doing crazy things like missions trips where you make unimaginable friends and meet incredible people. If I don't end up with a girl, I want to do what he did. Reckless abandon for God.

I agree that sex isn't the only thing in life - I'm just too sexually driven to ignore it though. Not ending with a girl does bother me though. I don't want to be alone all my life, and I've been single for long enough to know that it's both a blessing and a curse. Yes you have all this so called "freedom", but when I have been with a girlfriend, that didn't really change and I think the whole "you're free to do whatever you want" attitude is a bit overblown to try and sugar coat it.

i've been in your shoes man. Don't worry about that, its incredibly unrealistic that you'll never find a sexual partner again.

Woman don't really affect me now that I have smashed passed day 90. The less clothes a woman has on the more I feel sorry for them...they're trying to get attention because they don't have anything else to offer. What's worth is seeing men bow to women of this stature because they're stuck in the PMO loop. Perhaps this is why the feminist movement has succeeded since the invention of high speed internet and porn.

You're wrong and probably just bitter. Sorry.

A lot of women wear revealing clothing for numerous other reasons: the weather, to show off their assets (not necessarily to get laid.), fashion trends, more comfortable, etc.

Forgive my bluntness, but my response is: "so what?"

If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't.

Think about death for a bit. Think about how much of a mystery it is, about how none of us really understand what it's like to die or really understand what it means. You may have even wondered when you're going to die. Is it going to be sometime while you're still young? Is it going to be in the distant future, when you're an old man and have a heart attack on your death bed? How is it going to happen? Is it going to be violent, or peaceful? Is it going to be unexpected, or expected?

Now stop for a moment, and ask yourself this question: how is this conversation with yourself going to change anything about your death? If you ponder about whether you're going to die next year or fifty years from now, does that really change your fate? If you ponder about whether or not your death is going to be peaceful or violent, does that change your future? It doesn't.

It's really useful to wonder about the mystery of death, and it can make for an interesting conversation, but worrying about when it's going to happen to you doesn't change anything.

I believe there's an analogous situation going on with your worries about having sex. "What if you just end up hardly ever having sex, or perhaps never having it?" Well, if that's already your fate, then what are you going to do about it? What is worrying about it going to do to change anything.

My advice is to live in the present moment. Take in your experiences (both the positive and negative ones) as much as you can, and really be alive. In all likelihood, you will have sex at some point in the future (unless you are getting too old to do it anymore). It's just a part of being human.

There are all sorts of beautiful things happening all around you. There are pleasant sounds, smells, tastes, and sights to take in. Don't miss out on that stuff because you're so focused on whether or not you're going to have sex.

Pornography isn't everything in this life. Let's try again.

Actually I am not doing NoFap so I can find a woman to have sex with. Don't get me wrong, I like sex and I like women, but they are not my primary motivation for doing NoFap.

I do NoFap because I like myself better while doing NoFap. I feel pure and unashamed of myself. I have a zest for life which makes everything so much more interesting. I enjoy talking to people and being around people more while on NoFap.

All of those things make NoFap worth doing forever, whether I have sex or not.

  18. Its about the mindset, worrying about not having any sex or losing virginity is not a good way to look at it. I used to think that way before.

We are just thinking that way because of years we conditioned our brains with porn, but honestly, even if there is a chance of not having sex at all, its all good as long as your life has a meaning and purpose.

Adding NoFap to my growing aresenal improvement skills helps keep me going to the man I want to be, a man who is honest, have control over his mind and does not need to feel like he is living a double life due to sexual compuslsivity.
