What’s the Origin of my Fetish?

Looking into this is not beneficial because no expert will be able to tell you why with 100% certainty and different people might develop it for different reasons.

I'm not expert, but porn typically re-wires the brain around many imbalances of chemicals. The main one being 'dopamine'. Dopamine feeds off shock, novelty, things that conflict with our morale's, etc. When you reflect on that, things that are 'fetish' or outside of our boundaries suddenly become attractive. Sexual addiction imbalances are often porn driven or some sort of sexual deviation.

A reboot would help level things out.

 

That depends. What's your fetish? How long have you had it? Was it before or after you first watched porn? What was your first sexual experience? What was your childhood like?

 

I'm also wondering about this. I have read a little. Seems noone is entirely sure about it, but porn is definitely not the only cause, fetishes existed before porn. Some may develope because of porn but surely not all of them. I don't know why people answear even when they have no idea.
One theory I have heard of is that you make a conection pleasure-object, like the pavlov's dog. repeated action of feeling pleasure because of that object/action/whatever developes into a fetish. But it's just a theory, noone knows why o when this actually happens.
