So all my life, I've been masturbating by squeezing semi flaccid penis between my thighs. Can't seem to jerk off using my hands, if I look at a very hot girl I can get an erection that last for like 30-50 minutes. Is this normal or what do I need to do?

Having a long lasting erection doesn't sound like a problem. If you want to get rid off it, there are many things you can do such as taking a cold shower, meditation or working out.

But that masturbation technique can lead to sexual problems. I know from experience. Obviously everyone here would recommend NoFap, since you can't touch or rub your penis anyway. It can reboot your penis, as well as your brain.

  3. I am guessing this has been going on for a decade or more. As an alternative to your question, "Is this normal", I suggest you enquire, "Is this common". The form of masturbation you employ is not common. But there is nothing abnormal about it. Masturbation is generally an attempt by us to mimic sexual intercourse. You may well reason that the squeezing motion from your thigh muscles does that more effectively that briskly rubbing up and down the shaft of your penis with your hand or fingers. This is why the question regarding how common is more pertinent.

You also mention the matter of extended erections. If you are aroused by a "very hot girl" (is that someone you might see in the flesh or in porn?) you remain erect for 30-50 minutes. I assume you mean without touching your penis or else you could maintain it for hours, literally. If you see her briefly and your erection goes nearly an hour later, I would say that is not common. But if you can watch her in real life or on a screen, this would be much more common. Either way, it is a good sign that your penis is in good working order as many come here after their ability to maintain an erection deserts them.

I agree with the first respondent, that taking up the NoFap challenge is highly recommended. Perhaps you can give some history regarding your porn use i.e. when it started, how much it has escalated in frequency and content etc so we can give you some specific advice and encouragement. Also look at The Glossary^ for unusual words, phrases and abbreviations. :)

    Hi Kimmy,

I am also here mainly because of a weird masturbation technique known as TMS or prone masturbation, you can google it but it sounds like your way is pretty similar in many ways.

It is almost certainly problematic; think about it you are basically conditioning yourself that sexual pleasure and orgasm goes together with a semi on. Also you are probably putting excessive pressure on your penis doing it this way.

It’s awesome that you can maintain a boner but I would guess this has a lot to do with your age. My first problem when it came to sex was not getting it up but anorgasmia. Later I have had some issues with ED. I’m no expert but I would say that you would benefit from giving up this masturbation technique and that a reboot would be a good way to start.

I will write an intro post later to explain a bit more about my situation but I am also doing a reboot and will see how it goes. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

    Laters,

As a lifelong probe masturbator I will tell you it can cause major problems with ED. I suggest a long hard mode reboot. My last reboot was 83 days and I’m in the midst of another one. Really I think to completely recover from prone masturbation probably takes a good four to six months of continuous hard mode. I can’t even masturbate using my hand. I’ve tried and I can’t ejaculate this way. I can ejaculate if given a hand job but I’m generally not fully erect. My last hand job after the 83 days was really pretty good. I was about 80 percent erect pretty hard and extremely sensitive all of which are good things. I’ve also noticed since then (I’m now 12 days into a second reboot) that my morning wood is coming back nice and strong as is my desire but I don’t think I’m close to fully healed. I’d like to stay in hard mode till the first of the year but that will be a real challenge if I have the opportunity to be with a woman. Prone masturbation is a really bad form of self injury that takes a long time to recover from properly.

  11. Yes! Thank you for this topic! (and for all the replies so far). I mostly M using my hand, but have found other ways to get off. And this is something that I really need to look at.

I don't want to hijack your thread, so I will start a new one. But I have also gotten off semi-flacid and from squeezing my thighs as well as from being in the prone position.

For the prone masturbators: in high school I was on a riflery team which involved target shooting rifles in the prone position. One time my keys were in my pocket, the pressure was a little too much and I ejaculated. It was very embarrassing to say the least. But, from that point forward, it happened very frequently, especially during competitions (we were in several leagues and had A LOT of competitions). To this day I still struggle with, and get funny feelings, from being in the prone position which has recently given me challenges while practicing yoga or trying to do certain exercises.

Thank you again for the topic. Glad to know that I am not alone with this and grateful for all of the replies.
