I was trying to understand why I became a sex addict, the causes that brought me to sex as my main addiction. Why did I turn to sex instead of food, drugs or alcohol that never had a big hold on me even if I experienced them but could control them? I should add that I started watching porn at 18 but even without p I'm pretty sure I would have become a sex addict still

I am talking from my 107 days of recovery. It gets easier everyday. This is just to say that there is hope for everyone You are not alone. No matter how many times you relapsed. I lost count of how many times in the past I failed

Sex addiction in particular makes you feel lonely coz it makes you afraid to confide in others or they'd look at you as a pervert or making jokes about it

What changed now is that I reached the lowest point and I couldn't bear it anymore. I decided to be done with that lifestyle forever. I feel better. My brother comforted me months ago in that dark period saying "The only way is up". Stay strong and don't give up
