I've had only two wet dreams since I started. 2 or 3 weeks apart from each. The first time was a nice face to face sex scene, an emotional-charged experience since the Night before, the orgasm was incredible and the morning after I woke remembering it and with such an energy.
The second time happened without an aura the night before, had to push myself into remembering it and it was a violent consented facefuck and finishing in her face, a greater amount of semen discharge and I dont feel any better today. I feel guilty and worried because this resembles P.
Is this a relapse? Any advice?

I don't think that wet dreams count as a reset/relapse in that your are not consciously bringing on the orgasm. You are asleep and it is a natural thing occurring. The only I have read on the forum is to be careful of the chaser effect the next day after the wet dream as it can lead to that. Keep going, don't stress about wet dreams and most certainly do not beat yourself up about them.

Sorry but I don't think wet dreams are the best. You still have an orgasm, and for guys semen is released. Sexual fantasy often causes it (like it did in your most recent experience of it) and that can happen because of sexual thoughts or images during the day and perhaps also bad diet/lifestyle (too much sugar, caffeine or other stimulants, not enough exercise).

Wet dreams are completely natural, it's how your body handles the amount of semen inside. You are always producing it, so your body needs to naturally get rid of it from time to time.

Your violent dream (the actual vision you're remembering) was probably fueled by previous PMO that you've seen. It's just a consequence of the PMO, it doesn't mean you're going to end up doing that to someone or anything like that.

I've had some pretty freaky sexual dreams myself that I would never even be turned on by in my waking life. In this case it's ok to just let it go. Don't worry about it.

Hey guys even though wet dream is natural, it is better if you don't have them or can control them. wet dream happens as a result of a subconscious desire or fantacy we hold in our minds.
mind set i used to eliminate wet dreams:
    1) Be sincere with the emotion you feel after a wet dream , which could be shame, anger or frustration, but if you like the emotion, may be you feel happy after having a wet dream then i have nothing to say, if not then continue.
    2) Use the emotion you felt after the wet dream you had (it could be anger or frustation) to affirm to your self in your mind before going to sleep, if any dream relating to wet dream is about to happen your subsconscious mind should stop it or direct it to something positive (eg during a dream which was supposed to lead me to a wet dream, i found my self leaving the scene where the unwanted was about to happen and started jugging very fast so that i could release that energy)
    3) sleep on your back or your right hand side
4)wear loose clothing because i observe it is the morning wood which normally causes wet dream. Because we wear tight clothing and morning wood tends to create pressure down there, it happens that the only way to release that pressure is through wet dream if we don't have a strong mind.

once your affirmation is in action whilst your are asleep with a strong subconsciousmind you can easily control wet dreams without even trying.
Funny :) observation, Has anyone had a wet dream without a dream, you are asleep and then all of the sudden overtaken by an unexpected orgasm. sometimes is funny how the mind works, when we close one channel it tries to find another way out.

I have experienced a wet dream without remembering the dream itself... I think it can happen as a physicial reaction only. The thing is that as soon as your brain ‘catches’ that physical reaction it attaches a sexual fantasy to it ... it’s a weird occurrnce altogether. But I don’t find it’s something I can control ever. Maybe I am just weak willed in that sense and need to work on that. Who knows...

Wet dreams are natural, but if you feel guilty it is possible to control your dreams to an extent. Since you've not doing PMO in the real world, you can use "the scenes" in your dreams as totems in order to reassure that you're in a dream. you can start writing a dream journal and write down any memories of you dreams in the morning. It is common the certain parts of a dream reappear in another dream. Even if it hurts, you have to believe in yourself, that's the only way to succeed. If you literally believe that you have a powerful will power, you can do it. Imagine what happens when you pass this time; you can be proud of yourself that you developed you sexual behavior.
The NoFap community believes in you

[Joined the forum five minutes ago, this is my first post]

My first words would be "don't worry about it". Dreams are dreams, and while some people can occasionally take control of some of their dreams, this isn't true for most people most of the time. All kinds of crazy things happen in dreams! Sometimes those things are sexual, usually they aren't. I don't think it's a big deal.

We don't really understand what dreams are or what they're for, but it seems that they're at least in part the brain processing the thoughts and images that have been through it over the past day. I always picture dreams as being like taking the lid off a fibre-optic cable box and seeing all the data and numbers rushing back and forth. Because you're seeing the data in its raw form, it doesn't make a lot of sense (like most dreams don't) - but it's still really interesting.

Me, personally, I would welcome having a wet dream. It's many, many years since I last had one - probably in my mid-teens, after I had started masturbating but before it had become a regular habit. Since then, not one. For me, a wet dream would be a sign that my functions and desires are returning to something like a normal, balanced state. I would hope that having natural unconscious ejaculations would go hand in hand with having natural conscious ones. Time will tell I hope.

But my last words are the same as my first ones - don't worry about it.

  12. The chick you probably dreamed about you probably like her or either had sex with her before. Wet dreams are like any other dreams it's usually based off of past experience or future plans. Just my opinion.

I was considering starting a new thread, but there are already a few on this subject. I don't mean to hijack the thread though.

I have just had a wet dream about an hour ago, my 7th of a streak which is *currently* 122 days long. It was quite vivid, maybe not to the extent of the OP, but I still feel like shit. I'm reading through some of the wet dream threads in this forum, just wanted to post to get it off my mind.

I think wet dreams are a part of recovery.
I had a streak of 25 days before joining nofap and I did have a couple of wet dreams in the first week but it stopped after. I didn't ejaculate but I did leak a bit, now I don't know if you'll could technically call it a wet dream but it stopped because I didn't wake up and jack off.
In my opinion, whenever people are on nofap and are practicing monk mode they want to abstain from sexual thoughts and we do when we are awake during the day which essentially means that you're pushing it back maybe into your subconscious and it comes out when we sleep. I am not surprised that so many people have wet dreams because we're all addicted to porn or masturbation and it's going to take us a while to adjust to this.
It's just like breaking a habit, right??
If you're having sexual thoughts and happen to wake up and not jack off to whatever thoughts and dreams you were having, you're rewiring your brain and eventually it'll go away.

A wet dream is not related to sex or our addictions. It is a normal function of our bodies, it is a way that our body clears out the ejaculatory ducts to keep them healthy in preparation for reproduction. In terms of NoFap it's a good sign, your body will only need to trigger wet dreams when you're not triggering your own ejeculation.

Danny boy25, this is a piece of gem, immagine having to stop the thought or the trigger to a wet dream like 2 or 3 dreams at night whilst asleep, it is a real test of a person's will power

I had a similar dream like that too. Except I had an obsession with tv shows like cops and law and order but then I went cold turkey and I stopped watching tv. Now I just do it through other stress relief moments. There is no reason for me to open to anyone about it. Talking doesn't really help me that much. I am just here to find out more about this PMO habit that I heard on YouTube on why nice guys get addicted to porn.

I've never had a wet dream in my life - now almost 7 months PMO. Does anybody know the scientific reason why some people do and some don't?

I guess it is different for each person. As for me I never really had many thoughts about wet dreams, or even had them, at first I thought I did, but then I realized they were bad dreams. The only bad part I have to deal with is the pain of withdrawal symptoms of my porn addiction. Like anger, lashing out at stuff, 2) sadness and 3) happiness.
