As someone who's had a panty fetish for years, I have endless thoughts on the matter . . . but I'll try to keep it brief (get it?)

And, for me, it has changed. For awhile it was really intense. I've heard many stories about panty-perverts, but the one that always struck me the most was about one guy who made a lot of headlines some years back. There was a young lady who had gone missing. And, some time after, they caught this guy with several hundred pairs of panties that he had stolen from various laundry facilities, including the ones at the university where the missing girl went to school. He immediately became a person of interest and the newspapers revealed how this guy had more than half a dozen suitcases filled with panties, each one bagged and dated, detailing where it came from, as well as bags of laundry lint.

Here's the thing: yeah, this guy was a pervert who had stolen underwear from countless women but the only link between him and the missing girl is that one of the many laundry facilities that he looted was possibly the same one that she might have used.

The guy was arrested (of course) and guess what they set his bail at?

Ten Million Dollars!!!!

Seriously? Mobsters and murderer's rarely have their bail set at more than a million, but ten million??? It really shows how society judges a guy for having a panty fetish. I think it's really sad

For me this was a thing. I think it does come from looking at porn/sexual content.

I must have been about 13 or so when I started. I remember the newspaper had a topless model every day and she would have on nice underwear. Also looking at lingerie models is something that comes to mind. My grandmother had a lot of frilly underwear and I seen it as sexual. I used this for a couple of years from 13 years old stopped then went back to it from 17 to 21. Then in later life with my wife's but just smelling.

For me then it is something I'm ashamed of to be honest. It lead to a few situations that I'm uncomfortable with. And I think its another example of how the brain just wants more and more when I look at the world in a sexual way. Not healthy at all and that's how people like this guy in the news get to where they get to.

When I look back I think I was trying to intensify my MO and used the underwear as a prop. Not really to fantasize about who owned them. But I had a big mother issue so I think part of it was to do with that in a way in the beginning. But then in later life it was just something that I had done and was a thrill so I went back to it.

For me this is definitely problematic sexual behavior and something I definitely want to leave behind me in the past. I think it's a part of looking at the world in a sexual way and only leads you further down the rabbit whole.

 

I have done this twice over the years. I don't think it is morally acceptable as it is someone else's property and not only that but is a very personal piece of clothing. It is invasive. I feel regret/shame for doing it. I done this with a girl I used to live with. I didn't personally like her that much but she was attractive. Now, she never done or said anything bad to me but she was a bit dumb and that annoyed me at the time. I got off on the fact that she would be wearing underwear that would have touched my penis.

It is problematic behaviour that in my case I believe was influenced by having a porn brain. I would never in a million years do it again.

 

If i may put my two cents worth in...
I'm also very fond of this. I guess it's what ppl in the post have said... maybe pheromones, maybe the idea that it's the last layer that separates/hides you from what you crave and all that mystery and stuff. I guess, if its something consensual and clearly agreed upon among the parts involved, all's good.
