I feel this is an unnecessary charge. The clothing was soiled. Now it has a little extra soiling and simply needs washing, which was required anyway. The other charges: burglary and criminal trespass seem more appropriate in this situation.

Ahem... Yes, I have had the inclination and I have done this many times. It seems morally acceptable to do this to me. The circumstances were different for me, but, yeah, essentially the same thing. Mine came 25 years before I started porn. I was still a teenager. It was not increased by porn later in life. The appeal for me was to smell the sexual odours in the underwear. If you were to believe Japanese anime, it's a fairly common thing for young men to steal women's underwear. This kind of episode is always played for laughs too. I done it. Was like a seasonal thing for me. Started as a curiosity because I heard other people do it. At first didn't felt no excitement. But then I did . It just helped my dirty imagination. I have this unwanted behaviour too, only it’s for my wife’s jeans. Trouble for me is that she is often wearing the jeans and they act as a trigger for PMO.
