Hey guys, so here i am yet again post relapse, been into nofap for 2 years now, learned a lot, applied not as much. I know what it takes now, what we need to do, a plan, to know your past trauma, cold showers, meditation, reading etc. All those stuff and a lot of motivation and self discipline is needed to succeed.
Tired of anxiety, depression, BRAIN FOG... yet i still give in for that short term pleasure that makes me escape reality and numb out any kind of pressure or responsibility.
    I say no more !!!
No more to this addiction, in my case is more like a gambling addiction since im more into omegle and finding the " F" for cybersex... lost so many hours on this its nuts. Its basically like 2nd nature to me, its like a part of me like its all i know... instead of working on personal development, reading , learning , being more social... i was on that site wasting my time...

Tomorow is my birthday and i officially can i say that i am now ready to go through all the recovery phases of nofap, ill face them like a man with no excuses and this time i will win.
On my 23th birthday marks the start of the new me !!!!

Sounds great! We really gotta hold your feet to the fire here, so how long are you going to start off with, and what specific date does that mean you have to go until?

I certainly hope you do never again. But I tried setting overly ambitious goals like that hundreds of times and almost always failed in under a week no matter how motivated I felt. The only thing that ever gave me progress was reaching 30 days clean last year. I relapsed but cut my weekly PMO rate in half. This year I got up the motivation again and now I'm most of the way through my 90 day commitment, making even more progress at whipping this addiction. You gotta set a specific and reasonable goal. If you make it to, say 30 days, maybe you'll already feel ready to stay on until 90, maybe from 90 to 200, etc.

True, its a working progress where we need to be extremely patient . The most important thing is that we are aware of it and want to work on it ! Time will come and we will be cured ! Mark my words!

Good on you man. I'm finding my NoFap journey to be a little bit like a video game (let's say Mario Bros) with my own tendencies (the level) and external forces (goombahs, etc.). Anyhow, even if I relapse, I don't want to get discouraged. I just want to try to get farther. Salutes to your positivity.

Is it possible to get cured on your own or do we need professional treatment?

if you look again p is because you didn't understand anything. looking again p teach your brain that sex takes place behind a screen. IT'S A IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE, you can rewire it with a real girl, but part of the damage will stay with you forever. besides you are 23 years old, your brain no longer learns like when you were younger. if you don't rewind now, you won't be able to have sex with a real girl anymore !!!
