Trying to understand the addiction and what may be different to each addict

    Im really trying to understand the differences that surround this addiction. All the reading of stories I have done leads me to believe the draw to porn is different for everyone. Has anyone recognized there addiction is actually more verbal versus actually imagery itself? Like it’s the things being said out loud that contribute to your desire or actually seeing it.

    Any insight is appreciated!

    We are addicted to the stimuli of porn whether it's verbal, visual it written. It's different from other addictions since it hijacks your sexual desires, something you would have no matter what. Unlike something like alcohol which, although addictive, you'd never crave if you never drank.
