Trying to stop watching porn

    Currently I'm watching porn once per two days. Sometimes I can control myself and not do that for about a week or even more. Today (after doing that again) I decided that I'm really going to stop doing that sh*t. So, that's why I've registered here. I hope this step (and you, guys) will help me to get rid of that destructive behaviour.

    I have also joined today. 37 year old married man. Porning and faping since age 23. Today is 15 days of no porn no mastur.

    Well, I'm going to gym and also trying to be busy during the day. I've also decided to find a girlfriend, because I haven't had any relationship before. I think, having a girlfriend is some kind of motivation because if you really like her, you don't need to watch other women (especially, in porn). That's what I think. I hope all these stuff will help me to overcome that habit.

    As you read the journals of others, you will see that getting a girlfriend will not stop your need to view porn. It may initially but eventually the desire for porn returns. It happens even with marriages and those who are married and are starting families.

    You would do you and any girl a huge favor by dealing with this issue prior to dating.
