Trying hard not to relapse

    Started to abstain from porn more about a month ago, but decided for a beginning to allow myself masturbation. So masturbated 7 times in the last month, two of which were 3 and 4 days ago.

    Now feeling like it's becoming harder and harder to control myself. Especially late in the evening when boredom and tiredness take over.

    So, looking for motivation and support, joined the NoFap community.

    Well, I'm feeling like being bored and/or stressed has been my trigger for porn. So I'm trying to do useful things in order to avoid temptations. Simultaneously started a few good habits and really hope they will stick - contrast showers, excercise and meditation in the morning, reading books and studying a foreign language throughout the day.

    The problem is that I'm feeling like doing new good habits takes a lot of willpower, which is a finite resource. Right now I'm feeling good, the sun is shining, etc. But what will happen when the weather turns bad and I'm hit by a stress at work?..

    Would really love to hear some tips and tricks from other guys how to not rely solely on willpower.

    You could always look for a girlfriend. Just be honest with her, if you find a prospect, and see if she will help you. It's always nice to have supportive people around. Also, there are video games, if you don't game already. They're a nice distraction.
