Hi Jamie, thanks for sharing your story. It's fantastic to see that you've found your identity after "seeking awareness" as you put it. We all go through stages of anxiety about our sexual identity or orientation, and none more than those of us who have trouble with pornography addiction.

Look I'm gonna come out and say that I find cryptic lyrics to have limited value in forum discussions. If you have something to say @dragonaire, why don't you say it?

Im gonna say some blasphemies here that they are completely true:

Im living in venezuela and all of those "stairways to heaven" were ripped off from me at once...

I had the best phones (pre iphone era), best watches, best everything (i still felt empty bc i thought that it would bring me admirers... far from truth)... Then communism appeared and i found out that i really never needed those stuff, now i only want to survive the day and get a job... I became minimalistic, and kinda freer btw

 

To make a conscious choice you have to take some stuff in consideration

a) as a man you thought you needed more than what you had by nature just to compete... The reality? There are dwarfs who are superstars and really loved (Tyrion Lannister for example)

b) you thought that as a girl you were earning the appreciation of most men. You only needed to be loved. And maybe they were attracted to the charm of ur persona more than bc of you being a girl. You choosed that path bc you are genuinely feminine or bc it was a shortage to "stardom"?

d) material stuff are not gonna complete you or make you better person. By using material stuff to increase ur value you are choosing the "peacock path"
