Yeah I know this topic has already been spoken several times on this forum, but I was wondering about the average frequency of wet dreams on early rebooters (0-90 days), as I have had a lot this week (4), and their frequency is increasing.

I feel some light drawbacks in my body and mind after a wet dream, such as little pain and post-O sensations, less confidence in public... I've read on YBOP : "If you are young, ANY form of O is hurting your recovery, including wet dreams." (http://www.yourbrainonporn.com/long-way-being-healed-definitely-improved)
I even had to buy new boxers today in order to have enough for one week :D

For now I'll progressively read this post : http://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?threads/this-is-how-to-stop-wet-dreams.54096/
If you have experiences or good links about wet dreams, feel free to share them :)

For now, there are 2 votes for "Less than once per month" and 1 for "Never". Haha, keep going, I'd like more stats !

  3. I clicked never, as I haven't had one now in over 3 years, and it will continue to be that way.

The quote above is one of the MANY reasons I'm trying to teach other men to turn off their wet dreams, which is absolutely possible. Wet dreams are not a relapse as we all know, but ejaculation is still ejaculation, and therefore a loss of energy and nutrients just the same way it would be if we masturbated.

It is still a depletion of energy, believe it or not. They are caused due to an imbalance in your energy chakra system. The Western society is very concerned about the fast paced life, material things and has almost zero interest in the soul and finding perfect balance within mind, body and soul.

When you meditate, you align yourself slowly back to default over time, how you should be.

If you're interested in stopping your wet dreams, have a look at my thread about wet dreams below in my signature.

Yeah wet dreams are a nuisance when you reach 2-3 months of rebooting.
I remember when I was in the 2nd month one year ago I once had 3 wetdreams in 3 days that somehow ultimately led to a relapse.

  5. Very unfortunate that is. Honestly.
This is why I'm trying to get the message out there about guys turning off their wet dreams by rebalancing themselves and their energy correctly.

Wet dreams are necessary to remove some of the excess semen from your body. The good thing is that you don't lose life force when you have a WD. You lose life force when you PMO or have sex. A WD is a loss of nutrients, but wds occur in a mind that is resolving repressed sexual emotions that many of us have while on nofap. It's a simple mechanic to regulate release. As we cleanse our mind wds can become less frequent as were getting used to no porn. So wds are a way of bringing the gap for PMO and fantasy to reality and women.

  7. The correct term here is an imbalance of your energy chakra system.
Yes, main stream society says that wet dreams are necessary, but this couldn't be further from the truth. The Egyptians who were masters when it came to mind, body and soul would laugh at us if they heard about us still having wet dreams.

Wet dreams can be turned off, and the fact they can, doesn't that tell you something? I stopped having wet dreams when I started aligning myself through mind, body and soul. I haven't had one in 3 years and never will again. Most people only started having wet dreams since watching porn... Porn distorts your energy, just like everything else does that is out of harmony with love. You can rebalance yourself with things like meditation. Once a human being has returned back to their default state of "innocence", you'll never have a wet dream again, and in fact, you'll detest them.

The human body does not need ejaculation. It was intended for reproduction, which is the reason that orgasm and ejaculation are not even actually linked.

Well it seems this thread now hosts a debate ! Thank you all for your participation @AlltheRageBackHome @AdityaKhuntia @Thechosenone

Now there are 2 votes for "Less than once per month", 2 votes for "Less than once per 15 days" and 3 votes for "Never".
This makes me feel alone with my 5 WD this week

If I read the dedicated article on YBOP : http://www.yourbrainonporn.com/wet-dreams
People are saying wet dreams either have a positive influence on their feelings a while after, either a negative one, either not at all.
If I listen to my feelings and physical sensations, I receive the message that they have a negative influence on my body, mind and emotions.
So I'm told I should remove them.

I've not read your post yet @AlltheRageBackHome, but I've found many other resources on how to stop WD :
    http://www.reuniting.info/content/practical-tips-avoid-wet-dreams
    http://www.wikihow.com/Stop-Wet-Dreams
If you can take a quick look in order to tell me your opinion on these... Because I already meditate (almost) daily since months (I haven't had wet dreams at that time) and it seems it's not enough :)

@AdityaKhuntia Your wet dreams led to a relapse ? What were the circumstances ? Chaser effect ? I have to be careful about this.

@Thechosenone They may be good for some people, as they have reported their positive feelings. Is it the case for you ?

  9. Hey brother, I had a quick browse through those articles. A lot of the points are untrue. Like, saying how laying on your stomach, not eating spicy foods help to prevent wet dreams. None of that is true... At all.
We were created to enjoy life, and there are natural spicy foods that are good for us. We don't need to reject them. As stated, wet dreams are all about an imbalance in energy chakra systems. That's all, brother.

Read my thread when you have time, because there I go deep into stuff. I explain it all.
Wet dreams are about mind and soul being in conflict. Your will is weaker when you're asleep, and if there is still too much "lust" and "angst" within the body built up (usually via porn), you're body is going to continue to look for that dopamine rush through way of pornography. Your will in your sleep is so much weaker than it is when you're awake, so the carnal mind is going to take every opportunity it can get to PMO when it's asleep. When you meditate, you strengthen the will of your soul. Your reclaim your birthright when you align mind, body and soul.

Wet dreams are not about what you eat, or how you sleep.

@AlltheRageBackHome : Short report for now : I've meditated 3 times yesterday (instead of 4 times a week) and had no wet dream this night. :) But what about P dreams without ejaculation ? I often have them.

    AlltheRageBackHome likes this.
  12. Yeah, don't worry too much about P in dreams. It is just your mind still trying to regulate itself. The more meditation you do, the more your mind and soul will be cleansed. As long as there is no ejaculation, you are fine. It will take some time for the P dreams to fade away completely, especially if you are a beginner at this.

My thread explains why the P in dreams happen. Any more questions or concerns, please ask.

@AdityaKhuntia This is one more reason to quickly take actions to avoid wet dreams when they seem to have a negative influence ! :)

@AlltheRageBackHome I've read your thread carefully, and it is about emotional and intellectual part of ourselves being in conflict. What you call "soul", I call it "emotional mind" because it's described behavior in the thread is way more like the behavior of our emotional brain rather than the one of our real soul, in my opinion. Your thread reminds me than the emotional part of our brains is the dominant part when we are dreaming. We have to strengthen the will of our emotional mind in order to be in a complete peace when we're dreaming.

You're perfectly right about the deeply disconnection most people have with their true identity nowadays. We have to redefine what success is :

You lift an important point when you talk about unhealed emotions. Thanks a lot, this is very useful ! :) I'll now remember to consciously feel them, accept them and experience them. Because otherwise our mind is dying, and unfortunately modern societies don't tell men they can fully feel their emotions and still have a manly image. But the truth is, real men do cry :

What meditation technique do you use ? I'm used to transcendental audio meditations (Chopra Center 21-day meditations challenges)

And is there a way to selectively strengthen a chakra ? Like those described here : http://www.chakra-lover.com/chakra-imbalances.html ? I feel my weakest chakra is the third, on the solar plexus (http://www.inner-truth.net/healing/chakras/chakra-chart.html). I've also found some Android apps : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.ChakraAndroid&hl=en ; https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.unbrained.chakrasmantras.app

Oh, and I LOVE your previous avatar (with the flames), where did you get it ? :p

  14. Hi. I just do basic meditation. Nothing special really. I like to keep things quite simple. The more of it you've done in the past, the easier the process of becoming one with yourself occurs. I need to do less meditation these days. If you are not that emotionally fragmented, you generally wont need as much meditation. I only do it when I feel I might be slightly off balance, or just for the pleasure of it.

I actually only do it these days purely because of my sexual energy. Not for anything else.

Very good question, and it is an important one too. The secret about chakras and energy is that it is all based on the emotions. The more emotional injuries a person has, the more they are going to find that they are blocked in their chakras. This is very key. By understanding this, you are killing two birds with one stone and you can heal all of your chakras this way.

So, for example, someone may have unforgiveness or malice towards someone. This is going to block their heart chakra. People who generally feel a sense of unworthiness usually find problems with back their back, or with their throat (throat chakra), they usually are afraid to speak up for themselves etc...

It is absolutely possible to become entirely free of all emotional injuries and reach emotional bliss, but of course, it is a process. When one reaches a place of no more emotional injuries, all of your chakras become perfectly aligned.

Google images. It was a picture depicting twin flames (as they call it in New Age), which are really just soul mates.

Yeah, feeling and experiencing all emotions is extremely important. I cannot stress it enough.

@Yugae they started off as negative for me. As iI had more of them the Impact they had started to diminish, I just had a wd yesterday and it hardly affects my day now. But in my earlier reboot itd stunt my nofap growth a bit. But i powered through it.

  16. Overall I like them but they can trigger a relapse. I had a WD on Friday and relapsed yesterday probably because I kept thinking about the sexual images from the dream throughout the day. Before I started to MB, I had wet dreams at 13-14 but then stopped (or did not remember them and slept through the ejaculation). So AlltheRageBackHome's theory about the body and mind balancing themselves seems to hold water, though I do not believe in paranormal stuff.

For now, more than 80 % of the votants have less than one WD per 15 days.

@AlltheRageBackHome : Thanks a lot for your detailed answers, this is a pleasure to read them ! ;) And so, how can we heal our emotional injuries ? Through meditation and conscious relationships ?

@Thechosenone : I see. Now are you satisfied with your relation with wet dreams ? According to your answer on the poll, you have less than one WD per 15 days :)

@RoseTenthFan : Yeah, we're warned now. Fantasizing is never good for our reboots. I prefer not trying to remember WD and I even "shield" my mind when P memories occur.
This may sound as paranormal stuff for most Cartesian minds which aren't familiar with these notions, but actually this is just spirituality, which is an area of our lives, such as health, work, relationships, entertainment... This comes from many of the world's wisdom traditions, which aren't modern paranormal content (and aren't religious) :) All of this may be experienced by yourself if you lift your level of consciousness.

Yeah WD's dont really affect me too much, I think its a good thing to release once every few weeks or so, i get confidence that my body is still working well down there, also I dont believe its necessary to aim for 100% sex free, release free life. If we can learn lessons from these things than it can only improve us. It used to be the case that WD's mess up my next day big time now it doesn't so its alright with me, other than the nuisance of having to wake and clean myself off

  19. It's my pleasure to help.

Many people use meditation to try and process and heal their emotions. Meditation doesn't deal with the casual emotions, the root of the problems. Many people within the New Age circle try to numb their emotions and zone out. This is not healthy. At first it might seem like this method works, but emotions unprocessed remain trapped in the body and will only creep back up when we least expect it. Emotions must be fully experienced, felt and not neglected. We cannot be in denial of them.

I never use meditation to try and heal an emotion. The only way to truly heal an emotion is to feel it and experience it until exits the body. One of the best ways to release certain emotions is by crying. That's exactly why we have tear ducts in the first place. We're not made to suppress our emotions and feelings. The idea is to feel and own all of your emotions 24/7, whether they are painful or pleasurable. Go right into them.

I only use meditation to help circulate my sexual energy, and that's it, not for emotional processing.

@AlltheRageBackHome : Thank you. I'll remember this : "The idea is to feel and own all of your emotions 24/7, whether they are painful or pleasurable. Go right into them."

So since it's has been a week since the beginning of this thread, my recommendations about wet dreams are :

    - If you don't have WDs : You can consider yourself happy, you may eventually want to meditate and fully feel your emotions in order to avoid them in the future.

    - If you have WDs :
    - If they have a positive influence on your feelings and physical sensations a while after : You can consider yourself happy.
    - If they don't have any influence on your feelings and physical sensations a while after : You may either want to reduce/stop them or let them as they are, you have the choice. If you don't want to have to wash yourself after a WD you may want to stop them. If you don't care, you can leave them.
    - If they have a negative influence on your feelings and physical sensations a while after : You should try to stop them, first by seeking an evident factor that may enhance excitation when you're sleeping, and then by doing meditation (at least once a day) and fully feel your emotions throughout your days.
Thank you all for your participation !
