I’ve seen several people on nofap writing about it actually. Wouldn’t touch it with a stick myself

Yep, but that obviously doesn't make sense. That would be like healing from heroine, but still taking some...

Thanks for this post and congratulations on your amazing progress! I really needed to read it as I too just had a moment of temptation and looked at some images, but didn't go all the way (thank God). It's crazy how quickly the urge comes back and how our inner-addict can find any little way we give him to rationalize looking at porn. I vow with you to never look at porn or another image for the sake of masturbation. Stay strong man! We're all in this together!

In response to your Dec 24, 2018 post, you pledged never to use porn again.

While this is noble, and also NOT impossible, I suggest that a better idea goes like this:

I will not use porn TODAY.

Just focus on not using PMO TODAY ONLY.

    Win TODAY,

and you will win ANY day.

Thank you for your post, I can relate to this because as stupid as it sounds, sometimes I miss porn. I also thought about going back to porn in the future, but I defenetly wont! I know exactly that this would be a devastating decision I would hardly regret.
However I think after my reboot for which I plan at least 100 days PMO free I will maybe go back to MO once a while. I hope to make sexual experience with myself, because all sexuel experience in the past containing masturbation was just with a screen. I hope you guys understand what I tried to say.

Anyway its a great post, thanks for sharing!

Change the order of your words. Masturbating without porn is not such a big issue but watching porn is opening gates to devil. Do you really want that in your life?

Dopamine receptor actuallys get desensitized with porn. That's why you need more and more twisted stuff the more you are into porn.

They are receptors, it's a part of your brain, not something you obtain watching porn.

It is this way with all addictions, a sober alcoholic that doesn't drink for years can have just one cup and lose it all.
Our brain will never forget that dopamine and comfort zone. It can get over it, but the sinapses Will always keep there.

I do catch myself looking at porn , I haven't fapped in 5 months , however I do get alot of wet dreams which I want to stop , nofap is a great starting point , but retaining the semen , the seed , that's where the power is.

Hi, what happened after you watched P, did you became horny for some time, and got worse mood, but after returned to good state?

There is a myth of "semen retention", that somehow semen is converted into some sort of magic.

Old semen is simply destroyed by the body, otherwise it would go rotten (and then you'd be in trouble!), and replaced with new semen.

Some people get a powerful placebo effect from "semen retention", and that's wonderful for them. I've tried it, and it absolutely doesn't work for me — in fact, for me, it does the opposite when done for an extended time.

So, do what works for you and your body, and don't try to pressure yourself into a direction that you think you "should" go just because someone else says so. If "semen retention" (which is just not ejaculating) works for you, that's wonderful, and if it doesn't, that's also wonderful. Find your own body's good point.

As for wet dreams, I'm sure that they will decrease with time — you're only five months in — and especially if you stop watching porn. That's the most important thing: Stop watching porn!
