You have to want to stop - every part of yourself must want it out of your life forever. Then ask for God to forgive you. Then begin your rebooting process. One thing that helps is when you begin to have strong urges hit the panic button over and over again until and thoughtfully consider what comes up; do this until the urge subsides... usually something will come up that will take your urge away.
