It's not a secret that quitting porn and masturbation can be a hard process. So here's a list of some advice and tips I gathered in my journey that helped me and can hopefully help you guys as well.

    • Make porn harder to get to - Download a porn blocker if needed (I am currently using K9 and it does a good job). Disable images (This option will not allow images to load on your browser) - If you're using chrome, click on settings > Advanced settings > Content settings > Do not show any images. This option is really simple but could make a lot of difference.

    • Know your triggers and temptations, and get rid of them - Learn from your mistakes! Let's say you start watching porn everytime because of 'that' and 'that'. Get rid of 'that' and 'that'. For example, and this brings me to advice number 2 - Without any images loading on your browser, your temptations will be reduced.

    • Know how to deal with urges and temptations - Know what helps you deal with urges. If you're tempted to fap or to watch porn, try to get in a cold shower, maybe leave your room for a few minutes to do something else, or just close your computer until you feel the urge is down. Basically do anything else that will keep your mind out of that.

    • Fill your life with awesome stuff - Bring in to your life some good habits. You can start going to the gym, go for walks, clean the house, exercise, help your family and etc. These habits won't just keep your mind out of PMO, but they will make you feel more motivational and positive about your life and that is also gonna make you not want to fap.

    • You're not alone, take advantage out of that - make sure to read other peoples posts about their PMO addictions and how stopping them made their life better - It could give you a lot motivation. Additionally, you may find some other good advices and tips.

I deeply hope you guys will succeed and get rid of PMO from your life for good, and I wish you best luck with the journey!
