Thanks for the reply. Still going strong, but I find myself up pretty late here now instead of porn. A good tradeoff I think! A place to be helped and to help. That's the secret I think. It feels safe here.

  9. Its about being not alone. A lonely fighter: thats as romantic as it is usually too much for the single person. We need compagny and inspiration. It feels good to know that others go through the same hell. And it feels good to know that there is other people rejecting our oversexualized society.

Day 8 for me. Same here. I'm way more productive. 2 hours at the gym, fixed a vacuum pump for my wife's freeze dryer, went and got parts to fix our irrigation and jumped on here. I'm to pooped to pop soto speak, and it feels good. Well other than my hands don't want to work. Still limp armed from the gym!!

My son is my coach as he had worked with a trainer. We have leg day on Mondays which I am limited on from a back problem, so no deadlifts or free weight squats for me. Have to use machines that have back support. Tuesday is chest day. The next will be shoulders and then back. We work abs into a fun day where we choose. Shoulder day is the biggest bitch for me as I have two cadaver tendons holding my collar bone on and waited to many yard to work it out. So I keep tearing scar tissue loose which leave me really sore. The decline bench gets me the most. I have a plate in my foot so cardio is on an elliptical. I am 6'2" and got up to 268 sitting around eating and flapping late into the night. Started the gym I February and now I'm 242. Better, but about 30 more to go unless I bulk up to when I was in my twentys and that would make me good at 220. It's as hard as stopping flapping to get started the first time at the gym, but it really does help control the urges. One warning is that I have to do eyebouncing as some of women in there are very attractive. Not too hard to do now. I am there with one purpose in mind. Getting stronger all the way around! I was so out of shape I had to start the bench at 80 lbs. Were sneaking up on 200 lbs and my goal is to be there or over by the end of the month. I have done different forms of martial arts over my life which I don't remember very well. The only one that really stuck is Krav Maga. After that class I don't have enough left to even think about P!

Made it. Onward to next Monday, one day st a time. Got a little triggered just by stupid ads on normal web pages. All it took was a glance and I looked away. None the less I went straight here and all was ok!

  17. You do Krav Maga? awesome!!! I did it too, now im into BJJ :) I wanna start with cross-training this week! Getting triggered: well, i dont want to use blockers etc anymore: it needs to be my willpower that helps me to resist. I rather relapse and start again, because then i at least know that i was ME and not some technique (when i`ll make it). So: one more week from now on - anyone wants to join the two of us?

I agree with you. There is no way to block out everything, so I don't want to rely on hardware. I'm working on rebooting my software! If the desire remains I will relapse. Being here and staying busy takes away any desire to go back to that dark place. I'm going to stay with that unless it fails.

I've had to quit Krav due to back problems. I was their oldest student. I'm working off and on with a retired marine. The mixed of martial arts they are taught use less energy and are very effective. I like picking what is easiest to remember and comes most natural. I hope I never need it!

90, 60, 30 day challenges all seem a way off for me at the moment... But 7 days "til next Monday" i can hopefully manage. Count me in.
