I agree. It’s like stop having sex for the rest of your life. Okay maybe not that bad, but I would say something similar.:)

    "Nothing worth having come easy"
Yes, it's not easy, it took me quite a long time to reach the place where I'm at right now but believe me, it worths it.
By changing your mentality I didn't mean to necessarily stop masturbating/watching porn
you have to first make peace within yourself before you even think about doing nofap or else you'll never make it.
Be proud of who you are, Take your life easy and just be happy.
    Good luck brother.

Oh so true. Never let your guard down. I have been trying for almost 8 years now. My best has been a month. What people don't realize is it gets so much harder after the first week and it is not in terms of urges but your willpower to stay committed. We are gladiators, we always keep our shield up.

  5. I know that I am still not really at peace with myself, and bluntly I am partly using nofap to get more at peace with myself. I figure that nofap will drive the process of my becoming more at peace with myself, which it has. As I continue to not practice the addiction, things come up. I then know that I have a choice, either deal with it effectively and without hiding from it, or be overtaken by the addiction nature in me.

  6. This is sooo valuable. It is the essence of what I have trying to say, and what I have been doing which is working for me.

This is the thing. Streaks, relapses, all of it disappears when we do this, because when we do this we are being authentic. It is where our power to deal with this addiction lies.
