    Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone can give me a little help. I just found out my boyfriend of almost 4 years is addicted to porn. Even typing that out makes me want to cry. Where do I go from here? A year ago I found out he was following strippers and porn stars on Instagram (in addition to watching actual p). When I asked him to stop, he agreed immediately and was very apologetic that he hurt my feelings. But a week ago, I found out he went back to saving hundreds of pornographic photos and short videos on the app. So far he's deleted his account and is going to see a counselor. I just don't know what to do. I've never felt so worthless and stupid in my life. How do I get past this?

My guy followed stuff on instagram too.

So there is a lot to learn while here, and tons of people to learn from.

In my signature I have two very important threads for the new people who come here.

The Boundary Thread and the Resources thread.

It's very important for the SO (significant other) to set boundaries to keep them safe from the PA (porn addict).

The resources thread is something I created and compiled from everyone who has posted over the past year and a half. If you start there you will start learning a lot about this addiction and how to heal. Lots of PA's give up social media because there is porn on social media. My husband gave his up and he doesn't even miss it, in fact he is happier without it he realized.

One thing you will read over and over on NoFap is that his addiction is not about you and your worth. His addiction is his. It's about him. It's not about you. It takes a while to really understand that, but learning about the addicted brain can really help you wrap your head around it.

Good luck, and we are all here to help each other, so feel free to reach out!
