I was seriously about to relapse before I registered here. I normally don't do forums and stuff but I figured that I would register because I have been trying to get away from reddit and the internet in general. I am a student however, so I need the internet for classes. Hopefully, this kicks off and becomes an active community. I would like to thank Alexander for creating a separate place from reddit for us.

Anyways, I am Tim. I live in Texas. I am on day 45 as of this post.

I don't remember how I discovered NoFap, but I remember thinking it was silly. Then of course, I tried it and barely made two days. I struggled and eventually made my highest streak at 55 days. I made it all summer and then classes started and I relapsed. I believe stress and anxiety is my trigger. Stress from school and lack of social life wear me down and I want to relapse. It's definitely the hardest thing I have ever done. So, here I am at 45 and still struggling. I am doing this because I want to become the best person that I can be. I want to get rid of my social anxiety, depression, and all that shit and just BE ALIVE.

I don't know what else to write right now. I've got about ten pages of papers I need to write so I'm at a loss for words. Feel free to ask questions and stuff. I'm always up for conversation.

    Hi Tim!

I'm doing NoFap for exactly the same reasons as you do. Namely, becoming the best person you can be, get rid of social anxiety, depression and just feeling alive. I'd also say it's the hardest thing I've ever done. Stopping smoking exactly 4 years ago was a joke compared to this. My highest streak was 51 days which is quite close to yours of 55. Congrats for making it there and for your current streak of 45 days. I'm currently on Day 0 again as I find it difficult to get hold of the reins once again.

I can definitely relate to you, even though I'm in a different situation now. I don't attend university (yet) so I don't know how it's like and what kind of impacts it would have on me

  4. Boy! I wonder what Tim is up to these days!

  5. I've had a pretty long streak too and relapsed before joining this community some days ago and I hope to get some extra motivation from sharing thoughts and progress here. Keep going!
