The Olympics

The only one I can see as troublesome would be figure skating during the Winter Olympics.

The summer games would be trickier.

Personally, I don't care for the Olympics. I don't care about luge, tumbling, etc, etc at any other time, so I don't pretend to care about these sports during the Olympics.

I wish our government wouldn't spend so much of my money on them either. I don't care if we have a pole vaulter who is better at pole vaulting than anyone from Pakistan or Rwanda. Most of these sports are useless skills, and my money is best used elsewhere. If amateurs want to train and compete on their own dime that's fine, but I take issue when I'm forced to subsidize it.
