Hi Squeaky! First of all, congratulations for reaching 193 days! Have you considered putting a link under your signature to your journal?

It's true what you said before, that veterans tend to get less attention, but we still need support, because as you say we must "keep to heart how easily one can relapse".
@Loverofwife talked about having a sniper and that's how this works: one shoot and you're done. Back to the dark void of relapse and PMO. I'll try to start checking on you. Forgive for asking this, but are you still planning to go to the military? What are your goals now? Because the picture I have is from the Squeaky from 2014, that might have changed.

Lastly, feel free to join our more or less daily discussions with our groups:

We come from different places, we've all the same goal in common: to become better human beings.

I forget, when did I tell you that I wanted to join the military?

Still considering it, but the state that the US Military is in now, and the way the world is headed, I really am considering other options.

One would be wildlife ranger, and the other would be police officer. I like the outdoors, observing, but also because I'm an avid fisherman. But, I do also love adrenaline rushes, and I'm sure police officers experience a lot of that!

Now that you mention it, maybe I should out a link in my signature!!

If you haven't noticed, I have a second counter. It's so I can count the days I avoid dwelling on sexual thoughts. Seperating this from my old counter has definitely helped. Everytime I catch myself thinking about any fantasy, I snap out of it.

This is my next step to healing.

I'm liking the 6 days of not dwelling on fantasy!

And, I didn't even realize how close I was to 200 days!

Earlier, I was at the mall... Lots of beautiful women out there... I just kept invisioning a crowd of faptronauts applauding and cheering whenever I averted my eyes.

That is a very clever way of dealing with seeing lots of triggers when out in public. The way women dress (or don't dress), makes it hard to know where to look. So, inserting that image of your NoFap family clapping and cheering when you look away is awesome. I am going to link members to your comment because it is bloody brilliant. You rock, Squeaky Soul! :)

Once I make it past 278 days (my old record) I will make a new, New consistent journal titled, "The Mighty has Risen - Squeaky Soul's Journal," or something like that.

I had a really weird wet dream last night...

In the dream, I went to sleep, and had a wet dream, while I was dreaming! I was a little confused when I woke up to actually what had happened. I sat there for five minutes thinking things through.

    Nice to get a release. I find I will usually get a wet dream on one of these days;
    Monday,
    Friday,
    and Saturday.

These are the three days of the week I don't have to wake up early, so I attribute the extra hour or two of sleep to having a nocturnal emmision.

I admire you for paying attention to your relapses and not just continuing to make the same mistakes over and over again like so many do. You're dedicated, motivated, and learning from your mistakes. That's how you've had such long streaks. I learned this same lesson over the past several years of struggling with this addiction. It's absolutely the key to success.

One piece of advice that's helped me and may help you too. When journaling, don't just recap the days events and what happened. You don't need a play-by-play of your day. Talk more about the way you felt, the stress you faced, the lessons you learned, and how your day improved your progress towards your goals. I've been keeping a journal for almost a year now (not long, I know) but I've found it more meaningful and helpful with dealing with the stress and emotions that were the main cause of my struggles in the past when I looked inwards in my journal entries. Best of luck to you brother. ;)
