    Wet dreams happen when you are asleep , unknowingly or sometimes unwillingfuly you ejaculate .
    They are natural and it happens to most people on random times, sometimes during full moon day ,on no moon days, on days of high stress, on days of full bowel . They occur once or twice or even thrice during a month, and I may not be a problem as long as that number stays there. But for a lot many ,this rate of occurrence is much much higher, especially during the puberty years and well into adulthood . Many adults in their 20's , 30's , 40's and 50's , still do have frequent wet dreams . This high frequency causes a lot of stress in the body , especially in the brain and mind of the patient suffering . It causes the nervous to loosen up which causes lathergy , mood swings, low energy, less will power, ed, low stamina, inferiority complex,self doubts, self pity, feeling of no control over oneself, low critical thinking power, ...etc , symptoms similar to over masterbating or excessive ejaculation. But the feelings of mental struggle is much escalated and greater in a person suffering from frequent wetdreams.
    This is because of the mechanism under which wet dreams occur. When the brain of a healthy individual functions well, it largely operates and cooperates with the individual . The different regions of the brain mainly the pre frontal cortex pfc and the limbic system or monkey brain , function properly and the pfc is in control of the lymbic region.
    During sleep the pfc has much lesser control of the lymbic system. Essential the pfc is you and your lymbic system is your imagination region . For a healthy individual , during sleep , even though the pfc has less control of the lymbic region ,the pfc still functions in situations of emergency ,i.e you are still aware during situations of emergency and your pfc over rides the lymbic system and gets out of sleep. Emergencies can be anything ,that is about to happen without your authorization . So for a healthy individual with a strong mind, this awareness is present in sleep and the person gets up during times of unease , during nightmares , for urination , and even during morning woods. Morning woods are an indication from the body , that its morning and its time to wake up. It is a time when the body is brisk with energy and vibrance , and strong nerves , thats why an erection occurs. The pfc picks up the unease in the genitals and comes out of the dream and the person wakes up immediately from the bed with no snooze needed, because it is hard to stay in the bed with so much energy.. The person remembers the dream once he wakes up because the dream is stored in the short term memory region ,I.e the pfc .But for a person suffering from frequent wet dreams, the pfc is weak ,i.e your control over your mind or brain is weak . You have little awareness over your body during sleep and in the dreams. The lymbic reward system overrides the pfc and the dream continues to erotic dreams and an erection occur with little to sometimes no awareness to the person, eventually escalating to orgasm and ejaculation.
    This is a definite sign of hypofrontality and the lymbic system or the reward circuit is not to be blamed because this erotic dream occurs to a healthy person as well, but that persons pfc and general awareness is stronger and he wakes up, overriding the pleasure the dream gives.
    The person suffering generally doesn't remember any dreams ,even during normal nights without a wet dream ,because of low pfc functioning ,which is responsible for short term memory . Once he wakes up ,the person is not aware of what was in his mind a few minutes ago .

    So frequent wet dreams is a definite sign of hypofrontality and hypofrontality is low pfc activity,which is responsible for short term memory , critical thinking , desicion making , alertness, self awareness, self confidence , will power, maths and science knowledge, bargaining .
    So fixing the pfc will definitely improve the control during sleep.
    The pfc may be weak because of genetics , exercive TV gaming music drugs alcohol cigarette caffeine sugar fatty foods. It varies from person to person to various degrees.
    Strengthening activities like physical games , meditation , reading , chess, focused concentrated activities will bare results .
