    To everyone reading this,

I am a 27-year-old guy from PA. I have a great job and a lot of things that I am grateful for. Continuous self-development and reaching my ultimate potential is one of my top life-long goals. Everybody starts somewhere with a certain amount of blessings and challenges. To be responsible and utilize all that we’ve got are two major skills we must learn.

Watching porn movies and obsessive masturbation have caused me the most amount of headaches over the last decade. There are so many excuses one can take and so many justifications we can blame our behavior on. But at the end of the day, you and I know when something is wrong and must be changed.

I have tried to talk to few friends about this problem; long hours of wasted time watching porn, masturbating time after another, feeling so very bad about life and myself but to no avail. Nobody gets it. It’s an addiction. People will come up with the simplest solutions and dump them in your face. It is easy to quit any bad habit, and it is simple. However, when you’re in the middle of it, you cannot see clearly. We can be blind to the clearest matters.

I was so happy when I have learned about NoFap last week. I knew it would be the way for me to end this battle after almost a decade wasted endless fantasies and illusional gratification.

In this community, we are all here for the same reason. We know how lonely this addiction is and how mind-numbing it can be. We all know its impact on the quality of our lives and how much we want to overcome it and move on to the real world of self-discipline and good decisions.

My goal for now is to not watch porn or masturbate for 1 month. my deal breakers are watching porn, looking up anything sex-related on social media, fantasizing about people I see on the street, using dating apps and jerking off.

I have decided to spend 30 minutes at least on NoFap website everyday trying to read more posts, encourage others and find inspiration in their accomplishments and stories.

Thank you so much everyone. Let’s do this.
