Hey guys I was wondering if people who get success in nofap also get success in life.
By success I say having a good way to make money, it can be working for yourself or for someone else, good relationships, reaching your goals in life, good health, etc. Fapping is a habit, everyone here knows this. So if you can't get over this habit, can you get over of other habits in your life?

Life is made my habits, if you have poor habits you'll be poor, if you have rich habits you will be rich. This is simple but not immediate.
I've made a post talking about my life story so I'll not talk so much about that. But I'm building up my life again. I'm almost 24, single, I have no job atm and I don't have much friends. I don't own a car or a bike, living with my parents so it's like a loser life for some people. Sometimes I feel like a loser tbh. The main reason I reached this point on having nothing is because of PMO. So it's very dangerous. I'm trying to construct my life again. I did a lot of progress this year and sometimes I forget this.

But I think if I had success on nofap I would have success in life too. I don't know if it make any sense; I could be wrong I don't know, what do you think? We know there are thousands of guys that masturbates sometimes and they have success in life. Maybe I could be blaming nofap for my success just because of my ego.

Does any of you guys have some kinda success story after nofap? For example, you were nothing and after sometime doing nofap you reached a lot of good things in life. I admit one of the reasons of my relapses are because of my life. I feel a bit down about what I don't have. I see my friends having girlfriends, parties, a good job, friends, vacation, traveling, a good car and when I look to me I see nothing. It's really bad. I feel better when I'm on good streaks like 20+ but recently I couldn't go this further.

So what's your opinion about this guys?

  2. Quitting an addiction requires strength, motivation and understanding. People who succeed in quitting will replace bad habits with good ones.
In the end you will have a better self-esteem and more self-compassion. I guess people who made it are becoming more ambitious and motivated to succeed in life. So in math the chance becomes bigger that you will / are able to succeed. However don't think that success is guaranteed.

Take it one day at a time. You can't control what other people are going to do/say in any arena in life. All you can control is your reaction to it. If you find something that you can't change then change your attitude about it. Success isn't found from being great all the time at everything. It's about getting up and returning to the fight after failure. You will find that most people in life that are successful have failed miserably at many points prior to reaching success. Ask yourself a few questions. What defines success for you? What do you need to be successful? That answer probably differs for everyone. No one is defined by their job or their financial status, but society does a great job of convincing us that that's all that matters.

  4. Good question.

My idea and experience is that Nofap success and Life success don't equate each other, however I noticed Nofap works like a catalyst for me, in becoming more pure, healthy, motivated energetic and such.

You still gotta do the work, in all areas of Life to make best of it. If i dont fap but sit in front of the tv every day, i dont grow. So its like it goes hand in hand.. doing everything that I can do to make myself and my Life as good as possible.
I definitely believe Nofap is a crucial part in that. I dont believe the mainsteam view anymore that pmo is normal, or even healthy. Quite the opposite.

You're right. I never stop to think this way. For me that's what being successful in life is. So that's why I judge myself so much.
