    Hi,i've been into PMO for about 6 years now,still trying hard to overcome ,sometimes falling other times rising,but never ever going to give up. So im going to write about my journey and hopefully help myself out of this addiction and also help others along the way.
    1. So my first strategy involves A.N.T.H.E.M,its one of the most useful resources out there especially useful for christians.Try googling it. I especially like the
    say NO to lust within 5 seconds when an urges or lustful thoughts comes your way strategy.

    Hi guys,so i thought of sharing a.n.t.h.e.m here.
    A - Avoid as much as is possible and reasonable the sights and situations that arouse unfitting desire
    N – Say “No” to every lustful thought within five seconds
    T – Turn the mind forcefully toward Christ as a superior satisfaction.

    H – Hold the promise and the pleasure of Christ firmly in your mind until it pushes the other images out
    E – Enjoy a superior satisfaction.
    M – Move into a useful activity away from idleness and other vulnerable behaviors.

    Thanks Josh! Good ideas. Is urge surfing the meditation from Youtube? By Naomi Goodlet? I did that one in 2016 and it was cool. Maybe I will try it again. Thanks :)

    Hi bro,thanks fr dropping by,yea urge surfing is by far the most powerful strategy if used patiently,well I got the idea from a website called fortify not sure about Naomi on YouTube will check that out. So it works when you have an urge,focus on where the sensations in your body are coming from. let your mind notice that the urge can lose strength after a period, could be 20 minutes or less,during that time don't do anything just be silent and focus on breathing and where the sensations are coming from yr body,then notice the thoughts that come,you'll realise it loses power after awhile. Practise this and you'll not only beat pmo but you'll beat everything in life.

    Oh cool! Thats a good form of urge surfing too.

    My journeys been good. Alot of nofap forums and other outside help :)

    Relapsed.
    I realised i PMO usually when im alone in the room ,and usually with a smart phone beofre i use instagram,or youtube.
    So Im not going to use the internet in my room,once the door is closed im not supposed to use it. Ill try it. And ill try not to use youtube and instagram when im alone.

    Good plan Josh5873! Thanks :) I like when I'm not-active in my addiction because I can just have my room door open all the time. Don't gotta close it to go hide some behaviors. I forgot about that. Another good thing about nofap!

    My plan didnt really work out,because my phone was so ear me,and the temptation to check the internet led to PMO,
    -Next strategy-DO NOT BRING phone in room.
    -For insomnia-Go to bed around 10-11pm
    -read a Bible or any christian books
    -Drink some warm milk
    -Wake u around 5-6
    -Get up and run
    -Morning routine.

    Glad to hear that you aren't giving up. I've noticed a lot of problems using my phone as well so just avoiding the temptation of using it at all helps to say no. Just remember it is easier to say no before you are in the act. Just remember 1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." That way out is often times before you enter into PMO. Glad to hear you have realized that and are doing your best to avoid it. I'm fighting this fight with you man.

    DAY 1 FREE
    Yesterday i felt good,had a nighttime routine which started around 12 am,read a book,the way of the superior man,really good book check it out guys,the urge came in the morning tho,this time not a thought about P, but a thought of my gf, I quickly used some techniques like urge surfing, and bringing my desires back to my core desires,or my anchors which are people or commitments i love more than PMO,
    a)God I love you more,and want to please you
    b)my family i love more than PMO
    c)my gf I love more than pMO,and want to love without selfish acts like M
    d)my commitment to be an example to other believers in action,purity,speech,and in love.

    Just had a bad urge and came on here to see some support and this just picked me up. Gotta find my anchors just like you.
    1) God
    2) Family
    3) Future

    i found the fortify website quite helpful which talks about many things like urge surfing and finding anchors which you love more than pmo.

    Hey guys, im starting a 3 day PMO free challenge,till i make it to a day when im totally free from this enemy of mine,
    My plan is to do more active habits such as
    1.walking,running,lifting
    2.reading while taking notes
    3.Get ready for my career by studying
    4.practising spiritual disciplines more routinely
    5.Practising music

    and reduce passive habits
    1.youtube without doing anything about it
    2.binge watching tv.(more than 2 episodes in one sitting)
    3.Instagram

    Day 2 free
    Yesterday was good,but I kept getting feeling of loneliness,like no one cares, I have family and friends but sometimes they are just too busy. Thank God ,thru this negative feelings,He reminded me to think of happy moments in my life,anyone going thru depression or loneliness should think of their most happy moments when those pesky negative feelings come. Only good can overcome evil.
    Slept quite late yesterday,but woke up for a morning run ,had a cold shower .Feeling absolutely great. Best habits in the world.

    Wow I read it yesterday but I failed because I didn't follow the number 1. Porn images came in my head; even after praying I let it enter in my head and I relapsed twice. Pray for me
