From the OP I really couldn't tell which body parts you guys are referring to. The poll doesn't suggest anything either. But the answers did. Well, for three years or so I've only shaved my face, and down there everything looks good and clean, no necessity to change anything about it. Then again, I don't have that much of body hair.

I find it insulting when people go on about shaving pubic hair because it is more hygienic. Hygiene is a matter of washing properly and regularly, not about the presence or absence of hair. Also, someone else said it feels more natural. What? How can the removal of naturally occurring hair on our genitals feel more natural. How can something be more natural than nature, haha.

I concur, there is no necessity to change anything about body hair. It is a porn fad to have porn stars shaved and waxed. But I always looked for natural body types myself. Those are the sexy ones. Body hair is a secondary sexual characteristic.

 

I agree (not the first time the two of us are talking about the subject by the way ), I just wanted to add that shaving is not even more hygienic because you create lots of tiny wounds on your skin, increasing risk of infection.

Yes, good point and I suppose the risk is that one could pass on infection, not just become infected.

 

I think trimming g is a courtesy to your partner for oral sex.

So i guess my answer is yes, but going a different direction.

I spent alot of time in Iraq and live in a desert now. Pubic hair is nothing but a sweat sponge. Absolutely no reason for it.

Actually, the most painful part of getting waxed is removing the pubes right above the shaft - I think because the hairs are most numerous there.

This thread has been dormant for awhile. Curious if there's anyone still on that gets waxed?

I've been having it done for 5+ years now. Hard to imagine not getting waxed. The first time was excruciating. They told me it hurts less if you do it every four weeks or so and I've found that to be true - like getting my first wax after covid restrictions were lifted. I couldn't imagine having it done once a year.
