Social Anxiety from masturbation?

    Basically, I have a form of social anxiety. This is what happens. When I'm around someone, I start manually breathing, and I can't think about anything but manually breathing. My breathing makes them nervous, and them getting nervous makes me nervous. Its the reason why I've gotten worse grades this year, and is ruining high school for me.

    How do you know that?

    And what are you afraid of if that happens? So if people notice your breathing?

    So, how long have you been fapping for then...?? Chronic fapping will induce anxiety and then you talk about the way your breathing. When you watch open or masturbate I am sure you will notice your breathing changing but sometimes your not because you are focusing on the action.

    Try going 30 to 60 days and see how you feel.
     
  4. I had the manual breathing for a few years. It was 110% in my case resulted from porn as it vanished a few months after giving up. It's a result of withdrawal/anxiety. Automatic breathing does come back. Don't watch porn ever again and you'll get better in regards to breathing. I still have minor social anxiety even 19 months in, I think you'll need to work on that too.

    Try talking to more people, even strangers, until you get less nerves around them. You can even ask them mundane things like "excuse me, do you have the time?" I heard this works well for severe social anxiety.

    I know it, because right when I breathe, they get nervous. And they instinctively breathe hard too, and instinctively sniff.

    Thanks, but its the breathing that's the main problem, other than that, I have no social anxiety.

    Here is how it went.
    I fapped every day for 5 months. And then for 4 months, I limited fapping to 8 times per month, twice a week.

    It made my life AMAZING, but it didn't fix the whole problem. I think I've got to get to 1 month to fix the whole situation. I'm kind of thankful for this addiction, because it is the first big lesson of my life.

    There are various breathing exercises you can try. One of my favorites is inhale for 4 seconds through you nose, hold it for 7 seconds, then exhale for 8 seconds through you mouth. You can read more about it here:

    Yeah I understand that. But what are you afraid of in that situation? They notice you breathing heavily and they start breathing hard, too. And then?
