    Hi everyone,

This thread is not going to be about my issues with pornography, since i'm doing so well ever since i discovered nofap last year, i'm currently on day 30-32 and i'm actually over porn for good, especially since i have a great reason to abstain from it, sadly it had to be from a family member, my older brother.

I've made a thread once about his issues with porn, and how he influenced me to start watching it, i ended up suffering for 2 years from porn, thankfully i never started watching young, and i managed to break free quickly (2years of consumption, without any escalations to other types of porn genres), he didn't.

The first time i saw him watching it was back in 2015, he showed me a video and some gifs he 'accidently' downloaded, i didn't think much of it, i thought he deleted them and moved on...he didn't.

Fast forward summer 2016, that's when i found his porn stache, and man it was beautiful, imagine you're 16, first year of fapping, and you find high qualities of porn videos all at once, i didn't care then too, the only thing that bothered me was the slow connection we had to suffer from because he would never stop downloading porn, and it was 100% hetero sex, so i was cool with that actually....Here's where it gets interesting!

September 2018! I even made a thread about it if you guys are intrested to read it...that's the year i found out about porn harms and the way it effects our brain, and how this addiction will only escalate if you don't work against it, and thats exactly what happened,

I started finding some vids and pics of extreme violence, rape, incest, bdsm, you name it, i confronted him about it and he confirmed he's not addicted and he only does it cuz its fun bla bla bla, i thought he'd stop right? That's what a normal human being would do? Someone catches you watching some really disturbing videos, you'd be ashamed of yourself and actually try to stop, even more so if it's your younger brother who you exposed to porn...he didn't. And it got really really worse

March and April 2019, now he doesnt even bother to try and hide the videos, theyre all over his computer files, and the amount of downloads and videos is insane, like 10 videos everynight insane! And the content got alot more disturbing too!!

Now it's ACTUAL videos of women being killed,

Necro porn, rape porn, bdsm, animated vids of monsters-aliens-zombies raping women...you fucking name it, video games of women getting raped, basically 99% of his videos now are extreme violence against women, its fucking horrible.

Here's the question i want to ask you guys: since he doesn't want to stop it, and its only escalating to worse types, should i destroy his pc? That seems to me like the only solution, i can't live with someone and share the same IP adress with someone who downloads this type of conteng everyday, it's getting outta hand, and it's only getting worse? Do you think i should go ahead and do it? Please leave your opinion below, and sorry for my grammar, English is not my first language, obviously...

  2. You cannot control someone else or make choices for them. He has to want to change on his own. It can be very hard to watch someone we love destroy themselves, but if you step in and try to take care of him, you will only a) make things worse, or b) cause him to now rely on you to take care of him. Neither is a good option.

Each individual must learn from their own mistakes and choose the path in life they want to walk.

One caveat to this: If anything he is downloading is illegal (stuff with children, e.g.), you can let him know you will be reporting him to the authorities if he does not delete it all. If he will not or does not and you know about it and say nothing, you can be implicated in it yourself. Best to stay far away from that kind of stuff.

I am praying for you and your brother both and cheering you on the path to your best selves!

    Hey

That's actually my worst fear, i'm worried it escalates to illegal stuff and that's why i want to put an end to it, because it's only getting worse honestly, but i guess you're right, i shouldn't do something unless it becomes illegal, once it does, i'll intervene.

Thanks dude, really appereciate it :)

I have same matter as your brother.I'm addicted to Rape/forced sex fantasy porns and ACTUAL Lolita porns that 13-17yo real girls are creampied by disgusting old men.
I've never been able to stop to see those even I noticed about the harms of porno addiction.

So I can't say good advice about it,but I can say only this,it is important that your brother would be noticed about harms of porno addiction by himself.
And,the thing I'm actually doing is,all of porns on PC transport to external HDD and stack this in the depths of warehouse,to be not able to pick up this easily.
I think destroying PC is no good, because PC is property of your bros, and able to use other productive purposes.
