Hey all, I currently struggle with PIED, I am 16 days PMO free and going strong. I have a beautiful girlfriend that I was lucky enough to meet in high school and was my highschool sweetheart for a time. She later left my school and we only reconnected a few months ago after her family situation resolved itself. I struggled with porn and masterbation from the time I was around 14 years old or even sooner. I never knew the effect it would have on me until a relationship went south in college because of my PIED. I was a daily offender, from 1-3 PMO sessions a day. During my latest year at school I significantly cut down my PMO and would go a few days without it at a time. I quit for almost 4 weeks and then relapsed when I first started dating my current SO. Now I am 16 days PMO free and feeling much more confident this time than I did the last time. I think the reason for this is I have a tangible goal in which I would like to see results. My SO and I are planning a weekend trip in August before we both leave for school (long distance is a whole other challenge..) and I would like to have sex with her on that trip. We have talked about it already, and the reason we haven't had sex yet was because of my PIED issues. I would like your thoughts on whether this is an attainable goal or not, or what downfalls there could be in this goal or along the way.

You have a right to that opinion, it's not one that I share but thank you for commenting.

I think that having a goal like that is a great idea. It would be great way to prove to yourself not only that you've overcome PIED but that your also new person. I sort of have the same goal as well, I'm going for 90 days of No PMO. I'm on day 10 and trying to stay strong, my birthday is in September which is a month or two after my 90 day challenge and I plan to enjoy myself that day but I have to earn it first. As long you're committed to this and it's what you want to do, then nothing or anyone should tell you otherwise.
