Sense of Entitlement

    Porn has given me a false sense of entitlement to have sex. Wherever and whenever I want it and exactly how I want it.

    If my wife is not available to satisfy me sexually, then I can turn to porn.

    The truth is that I am not entitled to have sex!!! I am not entitled to anything.

    Sex and intimacy must be earned. I must put in an effort.

    If tonight is not the night, then I must wait. No more excuses.

    Sex is not all about me. I must stop being so selfish and narcissistic.

    I've been thinking lately about the same thing. Sense of entitlement is one of the classic cognitive distortions that lead to all sorts of problems and negative emotions. Great post!
