Yeah man I completely understand I use to be like that. My penis size fully erect is 7 inches and I was still worried about it because you see dudes in the porn videos and you're like "So in order to please a girl I need that?" Every relapse would literally be me measuring my dick to check it fully erect. Now I don't care anymore because I accept it. You shouldn't act like that too man, be proud of what you have(Confidence)because someone else would kill to have something like yours. Will check out the article later.

 

C'mon man. 7" erect penis is way above average! I would call it large. It is hard for us average guys to understand why you would be insecure about this. Maybe you are unusually small when soft, so felt awkward in changing rooms/showers.

 

I can understand that in respect of your flaccid penis. But when it swells it triples in size! I would have thought that is something to be happy about. Mine doubles from 2.5" to 5" & 5" girth. Its near enough to average, which is good enough for me. But, as I said above, you are only likely to be seen by other guys when you are soft in changing rooms/showers.

I just wonder if there is something much deeper underlying your low self-esteem that you would define and 'measure' yourself by your penis size. I have a feeling that if you were 3" soft and 6" hard, your self-esteem would remain low. If so, there is something further to explore about why & how your low self-esteem began. My guess is that it pre-dated puberty.

 

Yeah, I can see how that affected you and why your penis became a focus much earlier than it would otherwise have done. At least you have a great many things going for you. So, coming to terms with this long standing insecurity should help to assuage your low self-esteem. I certainly hope so. God bless.

 

Most people lie about their height in real life when they are right in front of you. When I was at school people used to claim they were two inches taller than they were. I imagine the same lying about penis size is even more common since it can't even be seen. I'd even say that men that are involved in studies must be confident about themselves. So it's possible that it's even on the upper end of normal what they are saying in studies. We can't say as we are straight males. Gay males probably have a better idea of what's average for them , since they have experienced first hand. I say gay males and not females..as females probably find size harder to gauge considering they haven't measured their own..men in general are going to be doing more handy work and know what an inch is anyway..etc

Without going into too much detail I used to watch porn and one male actor used to be in a few scenes. I read a blog by him about someone recognising him at an airport. Turns out he's only 5ft 6 and 7 inches erect. In porn scenes it looks more like 5ft 11 and 9 inches. Camera angles are very deceiving in porn and people lie a lot about everything in their life. Just look at social media and people trying to act like they have a perfect life.

People are even more likely to lie on the internet behind their computers. I can say my penis is 9 inches to try to increase my self esteem and reduce yours. But it isn't. I've been with girls that think my penis is small and girls that think it's big. Or that's what they say as girls like to play mind games, shit test etc. I was with a girl once that claimed I was 3 inches smaller than I am and that she was taller than me. She had heels on and is probably 3 inches smaller than me barefoot.

You've got to remember penis size isn't important. It's general personality compatibility, hygiene, being in shape etc that attracts . Especially for the long haul.

I imagine most men get lowered self esteem when this sort of stuff comes up because most men fall in the 4.5-6 inches range anyway...and don't forget varying heights and how a same size penis is going to look bigger on a short male

I also have a 7" penis but the kind of porn I watch has made me feel like I am smaller than average. That's the effect it will have on you.

5.5 is average, 7 might be large, but unless you are gigantic then all porn will do is make you feel worthless and tiny. Without it, we will hopefully feel normal again.

 

So how does that explain the issue with Indian men finding Western condom sizes too large?

And why is there barely any difference in penis size across the world in studies?

This is a porn fuelled insecurity that turns the insecurity itself into a fetish. You need to let your mind let go of it and accept that like it or not (and part of your brain seems to not want to believe this) you and your penis are normal.

 

In basic, I looked around in the shower once and saw that i was pretty average. I have small hands and feet, though, so that seems not to be a good indicator.

 

Mine is actually below average some where around 4”s when erect. I’ve always been fairly comfortable with what I have. Of course there were times of insecurity, but since quiting PMO i’ve noticed my erections feeling much stronger and having intense sexual energy (in a good way because it feels natural and not self induced) and I’m only 2 1/2 weeks in with no PMO. And besides, just like how woman don’t want to be viewed as merely a conduit for sex they in turn shouldn’t let penis size be a deal breaker to ending a relationship.

Before I was only comfortable with what I have. Now I’m happy with it.

 

Hell, being an African American male I am expected to be able to metaphorically and sometimes physically touch the floor while flaccid (and standing, no less) and seeing as I am not, I am often mocked (behind my back) by African American women, which has caused a dislike for myself for being black as well as other blacks in general. I'm not trying to hijack the thread or make it about race, but what I say is indeed true...

 

I was never embarrassed about my penis size but I did start PE(penis enhancement) just because I like to experiment with my body through modification and drugs. Jelqing, Bathmate pump, Cialus, etc. Before having sex I like to use the bathmate and take cialus, gives you much more girth and hardness. Yes porn can even make those with large sizes insecure. 8" and I thought it is average, when you see the monster-sizes in porn daily you feel small. Was very surprised to find out my size is already quite rare.

 

There are grower, who are small when flaccid who grow lots and there are showers who are always at length and just get hard.

Showers are the one who walk around change rooms naked. Growers walk around with a towel
