I think any man of any age will experience returned sensation if they stop death grip and pmo even if they have calloused skin but the level of recovery differs by man. When I first joined I had a lot of men tell me that no matter my partners age he could recover but because he was 46 at the time the sensation never really came back fully to the point where he could O from sex so yes it will for sure improve but no one can tell you how much. I am hopeful that at your age you will be fine and fully recover. You have 15 years less pmo death grip than my partner did and I think that when you are younger calloused skin or not your body is able to adjust to things and you will get better sensation. The body and nerves will more easily learn that hey this callous is there but let’s work around it this still feels good. Your mind is also more adaptable the younger you are it’s easier to change. My point was not that older men can’t recovet just that the recovery may not be the same. When most men over say 45 need ED meds and have DE problems even without deathgrip and PE when you add that extra element you have a triple whammy. Men who are 45 won’t suddenly be able to have sex like a 30 year old because they stop pmo. More likely they will be able to have sex like a healthy 45 year old who is likely to have loss of sensitivity and ED issues. So expectations need to be realistic.

The biggest take away is you need to stop it now so you are not trying at 45. You are far ahead of many as you see you have an issue. Most men think the level of pmo is normal and when they get a gal they will stop and it will have no effect on their sex life. You know that’s not true and can fix it.

Hey man! From what i've been reading, some guys (Some I hope to hear back from soon)
have been recovering from loss of sensation by totally leaving their penis alone, I'll try to find the exact posts, but for some guys it did take a long time (anywhere from 2 to 12 months! o.0)
Though my issues may be different than yours, I'm holding out (hopefully not too much) hope that complete abstinence and change of diet helps.

Though i'm suffering from inflammation and hypersensitivity, (and PIED as well) I do believe the roots are the same as numbness....
Guys reporting numbness and lack of sensitivity also report sharp pains, etc once they have abstained for several weeks. From what I understand, THIS IS A GOOD SIGN. means the nerves are remaking good connections.

Anyway man, keep up the fight, keep researching your condition and don't give up!
These conditions can last a long time, and make guys feel hopeless (I've read some upsetting, depressing posts from fellas who have lost hope) but the body always wants to heal. It just needs to identify the negative stimulus, then remove it.

Sorry for the wall of text! One last important point. I have this theory that ..whatever the health issue may be.. if you don't BELIEVE you are healing, or will heal, your body won't heal, or won't heal properly. At any little glimpse of progress I get, I try to re-affirm my belief that my body IS healing incrementally, wants to heal and WILL heal!

"PMO: The only addiction you beat by not beating it."

Thank you! to the forum for a great giggle. But its TRUE! You need to leave the little man alone and eliminate the visual stimulation. If this means staying off the internet, then do it! Turn off your phone and dont take it to bed with you. Same with your pc.

From what I understand, taking in account of the limited data available on this subject, PIED and PMO affect the same parts of the brain that addictions with gambling, over-eating and shopping addictions affect. On a clinical level, you need to identify and intercept those urges before you act on them. Identifying them is half the battle. If you are here at NOFAP, you have at least identified the stimulus.

Rebooting is the answer and it is a different amount of time for every man. Give yourself time and be gentle on yourself. Not everyone can recover in the same amount of time. Think of your partner(s). We ALL want you to perform to the best of your abilities. In the same breath, we have absolutely NO CLUE what is going on in your head at the time of a failed connection. That being said, give yourself some time to get to know your little man again & cut out the visual stimuli. I do not own a penis but I certainly miss the hard ones.......sigh

  5. Hey! Since you know decent amount of knowledge on biology, do you know if excessive masturbation can curve the penis counter clockwise? And can excessive masturbation damage the penis enough that we lose size? Thanks I’m advance!

  6. Can callous affect erection quality?

  7. I’ve never heard of masturbation causing those things to happen.

  8. I’ve read that if you masturbate a lot it can twist it towards the hand you masturbste with, the angle and what not, if don’t repeatedly. Just asking to verify.

  9. I firmly believe this too. Some people disregard things that can't be quantified, but they hold merit for sure.

What about the opposite end of the spectrum- if your penis is so sensitive you orgasm in seconds each time. Does leaving your junk alone restore normal levels of sensitivity?
