Gents, adding this as a statement of intention. 7 days in and in need of a renewed mind after years of finding solace in FAP. Incredibly inspired by the success stories. By Gods grace I'm determined to be a 90 day success story.

Congratulations on making it to Day 7!!!

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and not judge you.

What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

Thanks DJ. Day 8. Inspiration from this site helps. Am weirdly angry and over sensitive today, wondering if that's something others experience? Asked my brother and another friend Mark to be my accountability partners. Will make sure I look at the Success Stories each day.

Day 14. Already feeling so much better. Constantly have to capture thoughts, especially as weather improves and girls wear less.

Day 17 tomorrow. Love this site! Also, getting counselling which is really helping to understand the 'why' I've PMO'd.

    Grateful.

Day 20. Feels so good. Crazy dreams, but all part of healing up and renewing the mind. Grateful and happy.

Day 23 - back to work after a weeks skiing. Never want to go back to FAP, but know that I always need to be on my guard. Prayed that my dreams would calm down and prayer answered, so grateful to God for that! Thanks for this amazingly helpful site. Joe

Made it to day 28, but struggled over the last week with M, avoided Porn but edged with some stupid tv program while abroad on business. Saw my Father last weekend after 16 months and it released a bunch of buried memories from childhood, memories of loneliness and discouragement that are the root cause of the PMO addiction later on in life for me. The plus side is that I'm starting to receive real healing as I reintegrate my past (the real me) with the false me (who I became as I ran from that childhood). The downside was that I was overwhelmed by the feelings and went to the wrong place for comfort. Having made 28 days without M, a record) and still avoided porn for over 40+, I know I can make the 90. Frustrating but I'm not going to beat myself up over it, just move on and keep plugged into this site. Thanks all.
