[Rebooting] [Hard Mode]

    Hi everyone. I'm new to nofap.
    Today I have decided to stop PMO because I feel it is unhealthy.
    I'm very pleased to join the community :D.

    I set my self a goal of 30 days.
    This is my first time doing this.
    I'm wondering whether I just post in the wrong subforum.

    Oh I saw the challenges on reddit! Gonna join :D

    Technically, you set your own goals and challenges, but I can tell you the general types of challenges and goals people here use.
    Of course, the challenge everyone goes for is abstinence, but from what? You set it. Some casual Fapstronauts (I do not like that name) would abstain from porn or masturbation, but I do not recommend that. Most people would go for no porn and masturbation. Some people allow edging, some people don't. "Hard mode" is when one abstains from porn, masturbation, edging and sex (me, but I can't have sex yet). Never really heard of "easy mode" but I assume it's abstinence from just one thing.
    How many days or weeks or months? You set it. Usually, people go for 30, 60 or 90 days. Some people go for easier goals like a week or two. Some would go for over a hundred days. Again, it's up to you to set the goals.
    And now you're gonna ask - what's considered porn? Again, it depends. For some people it's straight up sex videos, for some people it's anything that arouses them. For me, porn is media that has the main purpose of arousing people, with sexual activity and uncensored... you know where. And if I intentionally search for things that are outside of what I consider porn in order to get that dopamine kick (sexual arousal), it's called "juicing".
    For me, juicing is similar to fantasizing and playing with yourself. It's not really a relapse but you gotta keep them to a minimum, for the sake of your progress. I recommend you get yourself a counter, set your own goals and go for it. Go as far as you can, don't beat yourself up if you relapse and get back on track ASAP, don't binge. Just keep going forwards like that and you'll reach whatever goal you have set, I have faith in you. :D

  7. It's tough having to reset. I was close to 3 days and I had to reset. I was so pissed, but whatever it's all about never giving up.
