Real World Weeks

  1. Yes, you have a point there. Why I added nocturnal emission and dreams about porn to my list of rules was actually not because I have problems with these things, it was because I wanted a measure of my overall health. If I dream about porn, it means it's still there in my head, floating around. If I have nocturnal emission, that means I don't have enough control over my life, imoo.


    My point wasn't whether you can resist the cookie or not, my point was that thoughts that wake feelings are much harder to let go of. So if you learn to get sensitive to feelings that you want to control, you have a much better chance of actively changing thoughts before the feelings has become strong.

    Still a reset day. It was kind of okay, but I want to do better still. It's not good enough that I end fantasies I intentionally started, even if it was quickly.

    The not-thinking-about it part is actually not impossible, which is surprising me a little bit, but it's also terrible how my addicted brain uses everything to get dirty.

  17. Last night when I was dreaming, I had a hot dream that ended very abruptly: I said something like ”I am not going to do this because I have a wife”. Suddenly I am not cheating on my wife even in my dresms! I find it quite funny :)

  19. The key is to not thinking about of not thinking about it. If you work your hardest to think about other things it will go away completely. Another thing that works very well: deep breaths. As soon as you start thinking about nasty things your pulse will go up immediately. Deep breathes does the exact opposite - it brings your pulse down.
