Re: Day 40.

  1. Hi.

    I'm on day 40. Previously I reached 175 days, and had quite a few relapses where I would go a month and then fall. But this time I'm sure I've overcome this issue. A lot of things helped me this time. I always make sure I have something to look forward to. I exercise at least once a day. I also read books. I study and I drive daily.

    Something that I believe helped me this time is a few herbs: Rhodiola, Ginseng, and Gingko Biloba. But I probably believe that Rhodiola helped me the best. I decided to start it after I conducted some research about how it helped with various sorts of issues like this and also helped increase one's level of energy and vitality; overall having a positive effect on one's life.

    The no arousal method also works very well. I also watch motivational videos and there's this famous psychologist on youtube, his channel is infinite waters. Ralph Smart is a phenomenal person and I watch his videos consistently on a daily basis. I watched quite a few health documentaries as well and they, along with Ralph Smart inspired me to transition to a more vegan and vegetarian diet. The interesting thing is, since I stopped eating meat, the incidence of nocturnal emissions has decreased drastically. I've only had one since the beginning of this journey.

    Hi, I have a few questions:
    • Have you had issues with your erections before attempting to reboot (like porn-induced erectile dysfunction)?
    • Did rebooting help with that?

    175 day is just awesome. It's very fine that you're having streaks of a months.

    I didn't reach more than a 32 Days.

    What's your motivation for doing NoFAP. Motivational videos are very awesome , But It gets boring some time.

  5. I knew that if I didn't stop, my depression and anxiety, which was severe at the time would ultimately lead to my demise. I didn't want to lose everything. Moreover, once I came out of the darkness, I never even thought of going back in. Read Napoleon Hill's book "Think and Grow Rich." There's a chapter in it dedicated to transmutation.

  7. Thank you. Yes, I would definitely advise trying them, even in combination. However, you also need to change your mindset as well, coupled together with linking immense pain and suffering to the bad habit/addiction. However, there are some studies that show that when biochemical deficiencies are fixed, the rate of relapse decreases drastically. So then one would wonder whether addiction is more of an issue where we're lacking nutrients or neurotransmitters. In any case, try the herbs "spirulina, chlorella, Rhodiola(different kinds research and see which one works best for you), ginseng and gingko biloba. I haven't tried St. John's wort though.
