"...you have to sort of look forward to the withdrawal symptoms." Just read that here and its true. We can have our plans and healthier life choices to abstain from PMO but there will be some suffering. It is important to remember all suffering is temporary but embracing and, in fact, looking forward to withdrawal can help you cope better with those cravings. For me, personally, when I feel the dullness, dryness, cravings and sufferings, turning to prayer and music (one in the same in some respect) has helped me channel the suffering energy into something where I submit to the dullness but at the same time leads me closer to the best part of ourselves where we know we can't just do things on our own. Hope that makes sense. Quite frankly I feel the suffering this morning but I also feel better for just taking it on rather than taking part in the vicious dopamine cycle that has controlled me for years. Best of luck to everyone. Also I'm open to accountability partners. Just throwing that out there...

Well said. Very well said. And thanks for the reminder that prayer works, as well as reading God's word. So, for my Christian friends here on nofap, use God's word to heal and recover from this nasty slimeball called porn.
