Maybe old thread but from my experience, just about all of it is not good. It usually only gives brief pleasure you would be better off going out and meeting woman instead of paying for it. Idk if your still talking with that one who you had sex with that one time without paying. Idk how she is as a person but that means alot. I have before been such a hypocrite about this but I have struggled A LOT with this. Bc it is so easy. It is easy sex. I've heard people say it's better than going on a date and not getting any sex whereas with an escort for hooker two pretty much are guaranteed sex but that doesn't make it right at all. But the pleasure in a lady who isn't working is a hundred times better than an escort.

 

This contradiction is exactly one of the symptoms of addiction.
It's important you get aware of it.

And religion is making it worse.
Actually, I was raised catholic, I was an "altar boy" and my addiction is rooted in the believe that sexuality is "sin".
Worst, one of the priests was pedophile and one time he pressed his erection (hidden under his clothes) in my face. So awful.

So overcoming the addition means to me to get freed from the chains of religion.

What makes you think that prostitutes do not enjoy their job?

What makes you think that you ought not visit prostitutes for the mere reason that you are you? What makes you think that men like you do not visit prostitutes?

Hey bro, I can relate with your post. I've enjoyed normal sex with 'organics' but I've fallen for 'synthetic' sex, many of those times we're last year. I felt like my brain was finding a way to make it's way back to porn. I think prostitutes are justifiable to our 'addict's' mind because it's not pixels on the screen, but it's still an unhealthy sexual option, not to mention there's more opportunity for it to be fantastical, just like porn.

Just know that seeing prostitutes is not healthy and not justifiable. If you can't get enough of what won't satisfy you, you are addicted. But you can defeat the addiction. You are stronger than the addiction. Have faith and focus on your reasons why you've given up porn, and it's cousins like prostitution. You can do this brother. Good luck!

 

In many cases, sex addiction (being prostitutes or porn) is an escape from a bad feeling, searching for a good moment when you feel bad. Don’t blame yourself too hard for the wrong answer you gave to it, you did not hurt anybody but yourself so far. Those women choose for good or bad reason to do it and some will continue to do it, the only way to help you (and maybe them, nut who are we to judge, is not seeing them again).
Try to find a way to get away from your bad feelings or give other and healthy answer to them and this urge should vanish...
