    Hi everyone,

so ive been on this current streak a good 3 months now and for the past 3-4 weeks ive been feeling great, diminished anxiety, increased confidence/motivation and just a general wellness. Prior to this it was just intense withdrawals, crazy anxiety, brain fog, lack of motivation and just a constant feeling of doom and dread. So weve been plain sailing for the past 3ish weeks and then one night i had a pornographic dream, it was pretty mild, nothing too freaky but i ended up having a wet dream. Since then i have had a return of a certain amount of my symptoms especially the brain fog and anxiety but i should admit it is definitely to a lesser extent. My point is that despite wet dreams being almost completely involuntary they can still be harmful and can definitely insert a slight roadblock to the recovery process.
I suppose this is slightly useless information as if your going to have one you are going to have one but i suppose they are just something you just need to take on the chin on the road to recovery.
Has anyone else had experiences with these? And if they have, have they experienced a returning of symptoms following it?

Stay strong folks, it will all be worth it.

  2. When I started this journey in January 2018 I had many intense pornographic dreams for several months. They finally stopped mid-2018.

Many of the dreams were more like nightmares with me harming people sexually and law enforcement coming after me.

I’m very glad I no longer have those dreams, sometimes I’d wake up in a panicked state. It take a couple minutes to calm down and realize it wasn’t real.

I didn’t have the return of symptoms.

Shit man they sound really intense. The way in which this addiction twists the mind is really something... How are you doing on your road to recovery now/

  4. It's been a lot better as time goes along.

Yes I just had a relapse but the relapses aren't like they used to be. Longer stretches in-between and I'm not crashing emotionally when I do have a slip. I feel bad about this latest one but I'm not beating myself up over it. I have lots more social interactions and a couple of hobbies I've been getting into more and more. I'm certainly a better man now than a year ago.

I've started to meet women now and hope to start dating. Before I was hiding in my room after work and watching hours and hours of porn each day.
