PMO for 5 MONTHS - Do i wanna delete 10 GB of porn collection?

So, I assume after you reboot and recover you will binge again on your collection? Sounds counterproductive to me. I myself deleted a 74 GB folder of my favourite pornstars vids, which took me years to collect. I'd say delete that folder without hesitation, dude.

 

1) If you don't wanna watch porn again, isn't it obvious that you should get rid of it ? If an alcoholic doesn't wanna drink anymore why should he keep beers in his refrigerator ? If a smoker wants to quit smoking why should he keep buying cigarettes ? You feel me now ? No you don't, 'cause if you did you wouldn't come here and ask basic-ass stupid questions! SO WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?????!!!!!!!!!!!

2) Plus Google is not a porn site, just add a fucking porn blocker and you'll be good to go.Social media imo is fine as long as you don't watch booty pics, twerk and shit.

3) How can someone who busts 7 nuts a day and has 10 GIGA FUCKING BITS of porn EVER be "addictive" ??!! You meant you were ADDICTED not addictive!

 

always best to stay away from it. There is no need to be proud of your porn collection. Everybody can pay for porn or save porn on your computer, no big deal. Get rid of that useless degenerate and dangerous stuff before you lose control.

You never will be.

Use technology to block access to porn online. If you find a way around it, find a way to close the loophole. If you find another, close that one. On and on until it's gone. Again, do not lie to yourself: if you have access to it, you will relapse. These forums are littered with stories of people who relapse because they still have access to porn and are relying on their own weakened willpower as an addict to get themselves through. Get rid of your access to porn.

Yeah, a whole fkn 70 GB file of my favourite vids ever, some of which were in 4k format even. But yeah I deleted them because they were drafting me downhill.

 

I don't know if you're trying to be funny or not. I hope you are, because the alternative is that you're just being nasty. We all have questions, and no one should be shamed for asking questions, even if you think they're stupid or silly. Your actions here are counterproductive and won't help anybody. You sound like you have a lot of anger inside of you. I know about being addicted to raging against life, so I feel for you. But posts like yours never have a place here.

Delete! I understand this is difficult. I waited until after 60 days into my first streak to get the courage to delete my secret mode bookmarks in my phone's browser. Part of porn addiction is becoming emotionally attached to images. Getting rid of your stash is scary but it's an important step in recovery.

Apart from anything, I had a pattern of downloading from torrents, watching a brief selection (while fast-forwarding) and then saving it like some kind of deranged hoarder - often never to watch again.

Porn will always be replaceable, but your brain won't!

Make a list of things you wish to accomplish in life. Play guitar, write a play/short story/killer app, put on 10 lbs of muscle...your list. Now, ask yourself how many of those things you could have completed or been well into with the time you spent collecting that 10 Gb.

Porn is not life. It is fantasy, self-delusion. The time spent on it is time you could have spent living. Would you rather share your porn collection or the accomplishment of one of your dreams with those you love?

 

Delete it, by not deleting it you're essentially telling yourself "don't worry, I can always go back", if you can't commit then you will never succeed. You will continue to relapse and you will continue to think "I can go back to it anytime I want", I deleted 250GB and I didn't think twice, next day I went into a erection free zone (I actually posted because I think I flatlined right off the bat) and 12 days later haven't thought about porn or even wanting to look at it. I will admit I see a good looking woman I don't think cleanest of thoughts but I'm going to consider that being a man

When you go into it with 100% commitment your mind wont be easily swayed by weak thoughts and urges.
