PMO as escape from women's possible anger?

I'm just trying to understand what can drive this PMO thing and one of my ideas so far is some kind of hyper-reactivity of a man to a woman's mood/wishes/temper that triggers an escapist behavior - masturbation.

Basically what i am thinking is that a person who uses PMO is scared or intimidated if his woman is not pleased. "Not pleased" often implies a temper and even anger further down the line. It doesn't necessarily mean that it will actually happen, maybe she doesn't care or she was actually pleased, but that's what the man anticipates. As is the case with any type of anxiety, it's not the event that is the problem, but the anticipation of the event.

What i am thinking is that a PMO users chooses to accept his woman being pleased by another man (that's what's happening in all boy-girl porn) so that he can escape the anxiety provoked by the thought that he might not please her properly and she will get angry at him (and even leave him).

I think this would explain why cuckolds watch even more porn than the rest of guys and why so many PMO users end up with cuckolding fantasies. This would also explain the very common sissy/joi fantasies as well - men give away their power to women and submit to them to please them and relieve the stress they would have from actually "performing" and failing to perform properly.

This would also explain various erectile dysfunctions such as PE or ED with women but no PE/ED with masturbation - there's no woman to worry about when you masturbate, you can't "fail" her.

Basically, the person that masturbates does it to avoid interaction with women, so that he is protected from failure with an actual woman. And if he doesn't get to fail, she can't get angry on him so he is protected.
