    Hey Lescarr!

I too had my first sex with 17 and it was very similar to your experience. I still am not cured (see signature) but I've made significant progress over the years and so will you! You are much younger than me when I finally found out why I couldn't properly have sex - Use your youth! Your brain is even more plastic than mine or that of the seniors here. Commit now and get clean!

First off you should def. see a urologist to rule out any non-porn-related problem.

Staying away from porn is very difficult, don't underestimate what you are up against!

For infos on how to do it visit yourbrainonporn.com and read through it. Watch the videos, listen to the talks, then do it again until you really understood it! Also read through this forum. It will give clarify your picture of what it is you are fighting and understanding is the first step to properly beating this addiction. It also lists various battle strategies. It's good to know many of them since not every one of them will suit you. Poeple are different and so are their addictions and the strategies that work best for them. Also since you are still young you can apply for a free subscription to the fortifyprogram(.org). Yes, they are christian funded but I really gotta give them credit for keeping all the Jesus talk to an easily bearable minimum - and I get triggered by religion very easily so if I can handle it anyone can! They teach you the basics in nice little videos - a kind of "best of (p-)addition fighting strategies". I'd def. recommend it.

Also tell your best friend or maybe a family member. Having a real person to talk about it grounds the whole addiction in reality therefore better enabling you to fight it. It's a psychological thing, don't ask me how it works - they probably don't know themselves.

What too may help is seeing a sexologist (preferably one with a psychology background - not some sex guru). It certainly helps me. Beware though that not all of them acknowledge the existence of P-addiction and PIED.

Stay active on the forum! If you help people they will return the favour! Do not understimate the power of this community! Harness it.

Although this has nothing to do with (p-)addiction: I found jordan b peterson's videos incredibly helpful for helping me fight the addiction and sorting out myself/my life.

Lastly: These are lot's of things and they can be overwelming. prioritize and tackle them one by one. So many people have come clean and so can you! Stay focused! Stay comitted! It's not gonna be easy! But guess what: The important changes in life don't come wasy!

    Good luck mate!
